    Alternatively (again), try OpenOffice.
  • are you sure the key you're looking at is for word and not vista? My laptop only has a serial for XP. Did you get a CD or DVD with word on? normally the key is on the case

    My key is for Vista and not Word. It came pre-installed on my laptop so no disc or case to look at. The key is on the bottom of the laptop.

    In fairness, i'm not terribly keen, but it's gotta be better for new users to word processing.

    2007 isnt too bad yes it can be a bit of a pain trying to find things which have been moved but you do get used to it,

    2007 isnt too bad yes it can be a bit of a pain trying to find things which have been moved but you do get used to it, the code thats on the bottom of your laptop is for vista
  • The new ribbon interface is far superior to Office 2003, it's far more efficient to use keys to navigate menus rather than the mouse. Infact, reliance on the mouse was regression not progression.
