Hi guys!
I know I've barely been around this last 6 months *hangs head in shame* but I was very ill for a loooooong time after my operation and then so much other stuff has happened that really I got to the stage where I don't know which way is up!
My son has moved to a different part of the country, he's 16 and felt very vulnerable to the gang culture here in London and after his friend was stabbed but thankfully survived, I couldn't disagree with him so he went last week. He's very homesick tho and talking about coming home so we shall see. I'm going to go and visit him on Tuesday and have a chat. I desperately want him to be safe but I also want him to be happy so we'll have to find a way to achieve both somehow
My health problems are a bit up and down.. in some ways I'm a lot better than I was pre surgery but I got a whole batch of new problems to deal with as well. I now take approximately 35 tablets a day and rarely sleep a whole night, because I have to get up with a gippy tum.. usually for at least a couple of hours.. so I'm knackered a lot of the time. My surgeon reassures me that this should improve after a year or so and is just part of the healing process. On the plus side I've lost shedloads of weight although I'm still on the wrong side of being lardy
Hope you're all ok.. I'm not even going to pretend to try and read back, lol. Welcome to all the new names and big huggs to the oldies who hopefully remember me. Special hugs for katie, tiff, sazbomber, gem, badger and miro xxxxx apologies to any I've forgotten x☆ §ügÅr cØÅTëÐ pØï§Øn ☆

Ethel:j :hello: Welcome back!it is lovely to see you posting.wow 35 is a LOT of tablets,poor you ,but at least you are on the mend.Where has your son gone?to relatives or friends?.My youngest is 16 but i am not yet ready to cut the apron strings,but luckily he has a great group of friends and keeps away from the gang culture.I do understand your worries though it seems every day someones son is getting stabbed.I cannot understand what has happened to this generation,there has always been fights ect but these days so many carry knives it is frightening.How is your daughter now?.I have often wondered how you were all getting on.0 -
Hi Guys
Been soooooooooooo busy.
Was househunting. Finally moving on Wednesday, took the place on the 30th. Not so far this time:D
Went up to London in July for a TomTom course (my OH is using their products to develop his business) - the hotel we stayed in was brilliant. It gets so hot in London:eek:
Saw the Airshow and fireworks in Bournemouth on the 30th, it was great.
Our son has settled into his new place and now has his cat with him - was sad letting him go but will look for a new cat in due course. Our son is near us, so will be able to have more social times:).
Watched Big Brother - glad Rachel won:) Rex really vexed me at times:( I loved Sara's energy and Mikey's honesty. Darnell had issues. Lisa was OK but didn't like Mario. It was a long one this year!
I hope the weather improves, we haven't really had a summer and not really relaxed since we moved down south. Hopefully, once we get into the new place and finally move on from this one, we can relax and look for new business.An average day in my life:hello: :eek::mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:
:eek::mad: :beer:

Just popping in today while Im "up" to spread some positive vibes, Im usually so full of doom and gloom.
Thanks so much for all your kind words and advice to me recently, I have been back to work (briefly) and it was not nearly as bad as I had thought, moving offices and changing my manager has made a huge difference, now I just need to re-engage my brain, from new mummy mess back to Accountant. It all seems a bit alien to me at the mo. Im at work two days this week to, so we'll see how that goes.0
