Hello all, hope you've had a good Bank Holiday weekend :)

Things here still up and down. Mostly up at the mo so that's good. Me and OH sorted out our quandry which is a weight off my mind, but I still feel somewhat insecure and I hate having to ask someone else for reassurances. I understand completely about my own self-esteem but I think being pregnant is making my hormones wreak havoc on my emotions!

Anyway,   to all!

I have been lurking for a while but only registered today :)
    I suffer with depression too...
Mine started with family stuff and I had a work related/stress breakdown 5 years ago when I was 18....too much college and working full-time as an assistant manager got to me I guess....
Anyway...you all seem like lovely people
    xx

JoR, glad you and OH have sorted things out. Pregnancy does all sort of strange things to us but eventually it will pass hun.

  • Hi again, I know I am an eratic poster, that kinds of sums me up, I am having a major panic today as the time has come for me to return to work (next week) after 13 months, although I have not really been at work properly since before my first child 2005. I am so dreading it. I barely leave the house. They have phoned me, I can't pick up the phone to them.

My question is how do you manage things? If I don't return to work we lose our house, we won't be able to provide for the boys. life gets even worse! Im in a vicious circle

Can't give you any advice, everything sounds really bleak for you. Would you be able to get a sick note for a while longer?

  • Hmmm I guess the mods nicked todays joke. It didnt last long enough to cheer up too many people so here is another one for all you peeps who like a little laugh

    The Bus Trip

A senior citizens' group charters a bus from San Angelo, TX to Branson.

As they entered Missouri, an elderly woman comes up to the driver and says,
    "I've just been molested!"

The driver felt that she had fallen asleep and had a dream.

So he tells her to go back to her seat, and sit down.

A short time later, another old woman comes forward, and claims
    that she was just molested.

The driver thought he had a bus load of old wackos, but who would be molesting those old ladies?

About 10 minutes later, a third old lady comes up and says that she'd been molested too.

The bus driver decides that he'd had enough, and pulls into the first rest area.

When he turns the lights on and stands up, he sees an old man on his hands and knees crawling in the aisles..

"Hey gramps, what are you doing down there?" says the bus driver.

"I lost my toupee. I thought I found it three times, but every

time I grab it, it runs away..."
Who I am is not important. What I do is.
