Hi all, hope everyone is well, I am keeping up with the thread even though I have not posted.
Trying to see the light at the end of a bad spell (today I just want to hide).
Sounds awful but hopefully no-one will come round today. Have been keeping busy sorting xmas gifts but just feel like c**p today.
Anyway enough of my moaning, a few things that have somehow managed to stick in my brain
Katie, hope you are feeling better x
Annie so glad you have a good friend in Sam, and Shaz a new light in your life too xx all the best to both of you.
Ok thats it!! Blubbering again now will hopefully chat later.

Hi guys!
Tiff Towers has never been so crazy - what a week!
Now, I don't pretend for one minute to have fully grasped the political system in America,, but Tuesday became a truly historic day when Barak Obama became the 44th President-Elect of the USA and the country's first black (mixed race actually) President.
If you think back to even when I was born in 19*coughty, cough*, (shut up sazzy!), Tuesday's result would have been unthinkable. Tuesday was proof that those days seem thankfully much further behind us for the most part and that the US has moved closer to actually being ''the land of the free''.
And wasn't it wonderful to see all of our main political leaders united in sending their congratulations to Barak Obama? Of course, it didn't take long for Messrs Brown and Cameron, to start bickering between themselves as to what the successful issues were for this historic result, with each claiming their party had the same common approaches as Barak Obama's campaign. Fighting in the playground already!
I still remember being a young schoolgirl and hearing that we'd got our first female Prime Minister and thinking that was unbelievable. Of course, many adults later went on and voiced the same opinion!:D :rotfl:
It is therefore, with great pride, that I'd like to announce my own political cabinet for the next election...
Purr-ime Minister - Guess who?!
Deputy Purr-ime Minister - won't need one because they always try and oust the boss and I'm not taking any chances!
Chancellor of The Exchequer - katie tulip
- she can always account for her finances down to every penny and knows exactly how much it costs to buy sausage and chips, which will now become the new national dish.I was going to appoint sazzy to this role, but we all know what happened with the hat-fund scandal!!!
As a gesture of goodwill, katie will also pay for and host the annual MSE Christmas party at sazzy's house!
Health Secretary - mm sazzy
- she is already super-fit with all her running,, (no, not from the police - in marathons!), and is an advocate of catnip and smartie treatments. She will also be responsible for bringing back the *d-o-g* licensing act and fees and for banning marmite.
Ever keen to promote good health, she will sanction a compulsory massage twice a month for all women from their partners.
Foreign Secretary - missus ettie b
- already well-versed in foreign affairs,, she has already represented the country internationally during the 1964 Eurovision Song Contest. It was just an unfortunate misunderstanding that she entered it thinking there was a swimwear section. She has moved on from this to become an expert in the field of dangerous emissions from men,
, and is also a leading figure in improving relations with countries who do not support the naked Olympics.
Agricultural Secretary - mr miro
- he is someone of integrity,, who will ensure that our land is capable of supporting the millions of cats that rely on it for cat food production. He will also see that all pet treatment is free for cats. His first project is to up the gold top double cream production quotas and plant catnip crops nationwide.
He will be paid annually by tickets to Britney concerts and a five minute phone call to her every month. I had also considered gilly-brock-badgie for this post, but we all know what happens when you get badgies in your garden!
Home Secretary - gilly-brock, esq.
- he will enforce strict new laws regarding restricting the housing of *w-a-g-g-y* things to the outskirts of all towns fpr halth and safety reasons.New laws will be brought in for the prevention of homes without cats, smartie smuggling and the monitoring of sazzy's vats er,vast imported wine collection.
He will reinstate the transportation laws for all criminals and H&S violators, who will be sent to live out their lives on an island off Bognor Regis.
Entertainments Secretary - madam shaz
- regardless of anything else she has to deal with, shaz is inventive, always tries new things,, and she takes an active part in various activities such as badgie-stuffing and chariot racing.
She is well qualified to introduce a varied field of entertainment to the country and her first step will be to make bingo compulsory for all and to ban all televised sports that interfere with the flow of the soaps' and film storylines on TV.
Arts & Heritage Secretary - lady m
- lady m will produce great works of art for the country to represent our heritage, covering such venerable subjects as tea drinking,, couch naps,
, and biccie dunking.
Copies of her work will be copied into painting by numbers projects and applied to cover all the grafitti in the UK. All messy beds, swinging cows and bricks will be removed from our art galleries and returned to their creators, along with a huge bill for extra rubbish removal costs.
Education Secretary - missy bmf
- bmf carried out expert research into the youth of today and their needs. As a result, she has advised me that there will be a new position of Child-Catcher added to every education authority, no school holidays longer than a week - and only two of them in a year! - and cattle prods issued to all teachers for use with unruly children and unruly grandparents.
All children will be chipped and tagged at 11 years old.
In addition, we will see the return of spelling, handwriting and punctuation lessons. All doctors and lawyers will have to retake exams in all these fields.
Employment Secretary - mrs ccstar
- of wide experience, she knows exactly how good customer service should be and will implement stringent measures to stamp out the ignorant.Repeat offenders will be sent to boot camp on the Isle of Wight with Bruce Forsythe.
Unemployment will become illegal and for anyone unable to work, they will receive their benefits and an extra bonus to take in elderly cats as their contribution to the economy. Naturally, all veteran Chippendales will be cared for in their later years, i.e., from 30 years old.
Transport Secretary - master gario
- may the Lord help us all!!!Awww come on guys, I know he has to have a map just to get round his flat, but I had to give him some kind of job! (loves you really gario!)
Besides, could it get any worse than it is now?!
Further appointments may be made at a later date. I hope that we can count on your support.
Oh Lord, I really must to get a life!
Hopefully, they'll have let me out later so I can do some proper Tiffing.
Much Love,
Tiff xxx"If you realized how powerful your thoughts are, you would never think a negative thought." ~ by Peace Pilgrim.***'You just got Tiffed!'***0 -

phew, lots of typing there tiff. and to echo what you said want to say thanks to everyone for being so welcoming to me... is giving me a really good outlet to discuss things without judgement and to know that others are experiencing the same as me. Hello lovelies.
Just been trying out different hairstyles!
Now, those who know me know that my hair usually comes in one style - normal e.g. hair down and that's it.
However, I found my curling tongs the other day and decided to curl my hair and actually liked it. Made me look somewhat sophisticated. First time for everything, as they say. :rotfl:
So, I was chatting with Sam and he said to try out different hairstyles and to send him the photos. Haha. So, that's what I've been doing this afternoon. It's a bit weird seeing myself with different hairstyles though, as I'm not used to it, but it was fun.
