Hope all is well,I am up early today as I keep thinking about my friends funeral today but I will be ok and strong at least they will be at peace

I am off now everyone for a while and to eat my breakfast.I will be on later.Thanks for the messages and hugs re my friends funeral,I know it will go well later today,its at 2pm this afternoon.Off to my church at 10.30am to see friends,dad getting me at 11.45am,having dinner 12.30pm,then going to get male friend at 1.15pm who is also going to the funeral and then we go there for 1.45pm and then in at 2pm.It doesnt last long the funeral only for 20 mins or so and then my friend will be at peace forever.

welcome Arne to the thread,thanks for the virtual hugs and thoughts you sent

The Funeral went well,it was a lovely service and there was a lot of people to it that the back of the chapel had to be open to give everyone a seat so they could sit and listen,I sat next to my dad and just quietly listened to all that was said,they said about my friends life,two lovely poems were read out and a speech from my other male friend who was close to the friend that died and he asked the lady celebrant to read it on his behalf.The 20 minutes soon flew and the next funeral courtege came in.I showed Dad the flowers we got his family and I got £1.50 back as it was my parents contribution as well as mine although I paid the money yesterday.

Im glad everything went fine at the funeral. It sounds like the service was a nice tribute to your friend.
