thanks anni and amber, for the hugs
because daniel has special needs, and because of the fear of daniel going mental once in the hospital environment, they think it better for me to take him. last time he was there, he had a security guard at the dood, because he was so violent towards staff, he just wanted to escape the place. obviously if it was life threatening then they would have taken him or called ambulance.
his school is a fair distance from home, so still sat waiting for teacher to bring him home

  • Poor kid. Hospitals are scary places for any of us, hopefully they can sort him out with the minimum of fuss.

I've got loads of work on at the moment, which is a good thing.
  • PS How - and why - do you knit a boob??

    What Type of Bra?
A man walked into the ladies department in John Lewis. He shyly walked up to the woman behind the counter and said. "I'd like to buy a bra for my wife"
"What type of bra?" asked the assistant.
"Type?" inquires the man "There is more than one type?"
"Look around," said the assistant, as she showed a sea of bras in every shape, size, color and material. "Actually, even with all of this variety, there are really only three types of bras"
Confused, the man asked what were the types.
The assistant replied "The Catholic type, the Salvation Army type, and the Baptist type. Which one do you need?"
Still confused the man asked, "What is the difference between them?"
The lady responded "It is all really quite simple. The Catholic type supports the masses, the Salvation Army type lifts up the fallen, and the Baptist type makes mountains out of mole hills.

    lol ab

the knitted boobs, are needed by midwives to teach new mum's how to breast feed, got the pattern off lovign hands website, they are a charity group that i knit for.

just got back from hospital, they cleaned cut, x-rayed it, and stuck it together with steri-strips, to keep it dry for seven days. was proud of him, he was brave, even tho he was scared, might teach him not to put his elbow thru a double glazed window again.
other son, had bad day at school too, and has been banned from all trips, days out, and after school clubs, sometimes i feel like such a failure as a parent, even tho deep down i know its not my fault, they have disabilities.
feels like i am never meant to be happy
    hugs all

I slipped up with todays joke. In the light of LM thinking she is dyslexic I should have posted this one

Did you hear about the dyslexic agnostic insomniac?

He sat up all night wondering if there was a dog
