i hope someone can give me some advice here. Am i doing something wrong?

I cannot seem to get any of the mobile phone shops or companies to offer me any deals which are not already in print.

18 months ago when i eventually moved from orange to 3 they were tripping over themselves to get my business - now they don't seem bothered. I have had a fruitless couple of calls to 3 (the last one lasting 30 mins) where the guy kept just repackaging the same deal. E.g. instead of paying £2 extra/mth on top of the tariff for the phone wanted he told me i could pay a one off price of £36. As if I can't divide £36 by 18 mths to come up with £2/mth. Then he told me I could pay it next mth. I even asked for my PAC code.

The none of the shops in town (carphone warehouse, orange, vodafone) seem bothered about attracting my custom.

Is there something I am missing?

    Thank you all.

Thats exactly what they've said to me - offering the same deals as mentioned above. They then gave me my pac code and are not interested in keeping my business at all. ( I have two accounts with them ) I have 7 days left on my contract and Ive not had a phone call from them since recieving my pac code.

I've now signed up with vigin £10.00 300 mins 300 txt on a sim only. :p

    Hi Jimgee,

I doubt it is covered as I have been out of my contract since June.
Not necessarily. I'm not sure about the other makes but LG and Nokia do two year warranties. Hope this applies to you. :)

Told me that I could either cancel my contract or get my PAC - wasn't quite sure why that was so i just said fine cancel.
    Lol.
If you just cancel though, rather than getting your PAC, don't you have to give 30 days notice? You lose your number too...
