    bun - not listed on quidco unfortunately. It finally sorted itself out!

    oooh, right........so do we need to be staying in Otley then? That's quite a way from Leeds city centre.

    It looks like the airport is about 4 miles or so away.....anyone know if the train goes anywhere near the airport?

    I'm not sure.....I wouldn't be arriving until around 11pm on Friday, it's a bit late for me to be trying to then get further north of Leeds.

    I think there is a bus:eek: from the Airport to Otley

    And believe it or not if you look on the map and go down a bit to the right , to Hunslet and Belle Isle thats where I am, and it'll take me 2 hours and 3 buses to get to Smashed's:confused:

    I think - to quote Dragon's Den - I'm out. If it had just been Leeds, I'd have come up and booked a hotel in the city centre but I don't want to run the risk of getting stuck somewhere on my own either on the way there or back with a long taxi ride.

    I'm going on the bus so I can meet you in Leeds City Centre, I was planning on crashing at Smashed's on Saturday night(she did offer free bacon butties for anyone asleep on the floor/sofa/garden up a tree)

    erm.........just checked the train tickets..........cheapest is £110!!!! £140 if I split it into 2 singles. There were cheaper tickets a month or so ago but then I'd have to get from Leeds to Otley and get accommodation.

    Nope, I'll be staying here that weekend, but have fun whoever goes!

    I don't think i'm going to make it either... pah!!!

    It's just too far, too expensive, plus if i did have the money next payday (which i will due to bonus) it would be foolish to spend £200 on getting down and a hotel etc. when i could be paying off a debt...

    so at the risk of sounding like Debra meaden, "i'm out too....."

    but it should be a very good saturday night party thread that night in real time with pictures!! So will book myself a ring side seat now!!!!!!!!
    I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....
