That's great - fingers crossed you get a good deal in July 2010. Mine ends in November 2012 so I'll be looking around then for another good deal!Burlesque_Babe wrote: »My mortage deal comes to an end July 2010 so I have until then to get myself back in a decent job so I can apply for a new deal somewhere and know the CCJ isn't going to affect my application.

It's not Bob.
The trip to the vet this morning confirmed the dog needs to have the cyst on her back removed next Thursday, so any spare money will need to go towards that. It's already been £200 on antibiotics alone.
She is insured, but we will have to pay it and then claim it back
We will go, just probably not this weekend.
Aww, you thought that might be the case. There should be a law about how much vets charge:mad:Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Speaking of vets - how much is reasonable for insurance on the kitten. Morethan are £95 which gives £7k of vet fees with £20 cash back and Petguard are £86 which gives £3k of vet fees with £25 cash back.

I still don't know about Leeds. I'll be getting the train on the Friday afternoon so don't want to book somewhere in the city centre for a couple of nights and end up with a huge taxi bill each way if the 'do' is at smashed's house - does anyone know for definite what is happening on which days?

poor dog, but thank heavens for insurance huh.....
I've been thinking about getting my cat insured, not too concerned about the lodger cat (age, sex, origins undeterminable) but my girl is about 10 years old, and hasn't had any problems at all since i got her, has cost me the price of spaying her and the odd flea treatment (scratch scratch! sorry!!!).
I can't get her insured under her real age but if i put her down as 9 years old, and she is a young looking slim cat so wouldn't see how they could prove otherwise, then i got quoted about £65 for the year... is this worth while?I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -

We dont insure our cats, they've never needed it thank goodness.
The dog is a breed that is considered high risk, and hers has gone from £36 a month when she was a puppy, to £47 a month now she's 5. She's always been with Petplan. Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:
