on a MSE topic... i have no money at all, and i just found a pound in the bottom of my bag! yay me! that just never happens!!!

and i have renewed car insurance thru more than and the first payment is due out of my bank on the 25th according to the letter (so 26th as 25th is bank holiday) but i don't get paid until 27th, so will have to leave £28 of family allowance in the account to cover it, which is not good... as it's all the money i will have.

My requested payment date was 1st of every month, so i called them to see if i could move it... they tell me first payment is now actually going to be on 29th, after pay day!! yay!!!!!

but that they will then take out 2nd payment on 1st of september... but it gives me a free month next year when policy ends at end of august but last payment out will be 1st of july... so swings and roundabouts.........

Pre MSE, i would've just spent family allowance without checking, let it bounce, took the charges and complained later!

    nothing like being proactive!!
