  • Working in schools and having had three kids, i always find it worse just after summer hols. The best thing i found was baby shampoo, a few drops if teatree oil and a nit comb. Every day i did this and washed hair afterwards..head feels good as well and head lice heat tea tree oil. I have tried all sorts in the past, but persisitance and a comb the best. As well as good conditioner on hair as their legs can't grip as well then!

Lewis is gonna love that?!??! lol!

No but... cat fleas can live on humans.

Added: SILs cat was infested and all four children had little head-guests!

When Chalky arrived, he'd settled on the living room rug. I went to throw out the cardboard box from the shoip and saw three fleas (or black jumping dots). a second later there were two jumping dots in the box and a dot on me (I was wearing a white dress). I almost had third degree burns the shower was that hot.

Cat flea drops and flea bombs treated the house: we do the cats every six weeks and the house once every three months (boil wash covers and cat bedding, and use a flea bomb as well).
