When I printed my one I just cropped the small coupon bit of the A4 page so it didn't print all the pictures/logo/blurb.
  • Hey,

Just wanted a bit of advise. I used two coupons, both different around a week or so ago to pay for a purchase in Tesco's but a Checkout Team Leader came over when I was scanning the coupons, wasn't happy, stormed off and told me to never come back again.

I have been in recently, and nearly the whole store is aware of that I am banned.... so clearly the manager or that team leader has briefed everyone

I have spoken to the Store Manager, and Head Office, and neither are really helping. Head Office are saying I did nothing wrong, and that I need to speak to the Store Manager, who never has 'time' to speak to me.

Can anyone one think of any other reason for the ban?

I believe Igloo had the same problem, but was more severe.

What's the best way with me to deal with this, as it's quite upsetting :(

    Thanks
  • Just returned from Asda in Pudsey, West Yorkshire and tried to use a couple of coupons at the self-serve till.

The lady who monitors the tills came over as soon as she saw me take out the coupons and said that they no longer accept coupons unless you buy the product.

    Oh well...

Them ones have your names printed on them.... would look a bit dodgy if you print of sheet loads of the same name.

Of course their are ways around it, like using fake names, and just leaving the name section blank, but not sure where you would stand regarding the coupons still being valid though.

I think if everybody did this Tescos would clamp down very soon!

OMG At last someone with a bit of common sense!

Seriously though, if you present this Glenlivet coupon with the name blanked out you are ensuring that they will not reimburse T's as it has been doctored! If you (And others) present hundreds all with the same name on them then they will probably smell a rat and again not honour them. If you present any that do not have YOUR name on them then you risk being challenged (Unlikely I know but it will happen to some I'm sure) If you have the bottle to blag your way through it if challenged then just register each one in your 'friends'/ family names and talk your way out of it.

Personally I will be presenting one per week with my name on it because that is within the spirit of the coupon and how are they to know that I am not an alcoholic? Hic!
:p:p Have a good [STRIKE]Tesc[/STRIKE][STRIKE]Asd[/STRIKE]WHO? day - Err....I still wish Mozzies had a better website even though they are now on MyS! :p:p :rotfl:;)
