Is it really so bad to use the coupons in store? By Christmas we have a tidy sum and don't need to spend any of our own money, as it were, on Christmas goodies.

Well I look at it this way If you use £12 of tesco vouchers its like wasting £48 to save £12.
    Quidco £196 - Voucher Codes £408 - GC Saved £603
    P.A.D. £[strike]4720[/strike] / £4330- Jan GC £375/Spent £283.78

    Tizzy,

Which Tesco told you that you could not use coupons?

Maryhill, Glasgow. But I found a manager today and showed her the email and Tesco coupon policy and she said she had never heard of it. But if the till excepts the coupon then it was ok. :j

    Debt-free and Proud!
Today I remembered to take my envelope of MOCs together with a copy of the Tesco coupon policy with me (unlike last week when I left the lot in the house!) Picked a young SA as usual but today this one started to question the coupons for things I had not purchase. Don't think I can take these if you haven't purchased the items, told her the policy but she said her mum works in the cash office and had never told her anything like that! She offered to get her team leader who duly turned up, the team leader agreed with everything I said and said they were more than happy to take all the coupons I had. She had a look at some of the internet ones and said they were fine ..........happy days!!!! :T :T :T

  • Hi. Don't like the split thread at all. Used to enjoy picking up coupons and all the banter. Does anyone know if Marie Claire are likely to issue a MOC for their Sept. issue?

Yes if you know where it usually originates from please have a look and report back:rotfl:

Unfortunately I am skint and so have to look at it this way.........I can't afford the rest of the money that would be needed to fund the days/meals/outings that I would get with Clubcard Deals. I have no children and so have no desire to go to any Theme Parks/Castle/Museums, I don't have enough money to go on holiday so Air Miles are useless. I don't use Blockbuster/RAC/Johnsons. I don't read magazines so don't want a subscription to one. There are some good offers on the Clubcard for Families but doesn't appear to be anything of use to me. Plus as I only spend at the very most £30 per week there it would take me a lifetime to save up for anything.

I find it more beneficial to keep the vouchers until Christmas or Sale Time and spend them on things that are needed.

Ive never understood these, but having followed the link, i am getting there.

Do i wait for the voucher from tesco, which as just arrived, and use the code on it to order these offers?

Then, once i recieve these, i can use them at the specified store/attraction?

If, say, i used a £5 tesco voucher to get a £20 pizza hut one, can i then go in pizza hut, at any time, and have £20 of food, without any cash used or minimum order?
  • Don't know where people have got the previous Marie Claire coupons from but have just looked on the UK website and cannot see a MOC for next months issue.
