For anyone that shops at Tesco, Burnt Tree Island, Dudley as of today you must buy the item to use the coupon. Also as of Nov 3rd, Asda, Brierley Hill will be the same, must buy item to use the coupon. Boo-hoo!!! Oh well it was great while it lasted and it was nice to be able to eat steak but I guess it's back to ground beef...Murphy knows me too well and sticks to me like glue!0

Any of you shopping at Tesco in Nottingham?
Well I can tell you that Tesco at Top Valley are happy to accept 5 internet coupons but it must be on groceries & not mobile top up etc. This was actually being said to the SA whilst she was just coming on to serve me.
I did say that I had some internet coupons as she was explaining & this was re said to me.
I then went to Tesco at Carlton a couple of days later & I was told that they are not accepting any internet printed coupons. Every store seems to have it's own rules.
Asda at West Bridgford is the same...No internet coupons & any other coupons must say Corby,Northants on them as to wear to return them too.
Hope this helps!?Our 1st baby is due 29th December 2007! :rudolf:
I'm hopeful that this get's me out of cooking Christmas dinner!
Baby Ruby arrived after 55 hours of labour & an emergency c section on Christmas Day at 14.41 weighing 6lb 6oz...And yes I did get out of cooking Christmas dinner!!:rotfl:0 -

Does the Complan £1 voucher work for anyone?
All the Tesco's that I've tried, have problems with it on the tills, they just beep and gives them some error.0 -

i heard that it was because they had a complan tescos own moc in summertime, so they werent accepting the complan mocs...(just what i heard though...!)
but no -it never works for me0 -
Having had trouble with Tesco in the week I went to Asda today, and checked before I went shopping. I was told that after 3rd Nov Asda will only accept moc if you buy the goods.0

That's a new one, was it a Tesco SA who told you this?
Whoever it was is barking (up the wrong tree).
The Complan MOC has never worked in Tesco, and it cannot be typed in manually either unless the SA puts it through as a non-scan coupon (which they shouldn't).
It's just one of those MOCs that is blocked/not recognised by the till, simple as that. Usually it means Tesco don't stock the item but in this case I think they do stock Complan but the MOC isn't recognised. Could just be a glitch with that barcode, not sure but it's nothing Tesco have done deliberately.
Tesco don't block MOCs when they have their own version out, they never have done and wouldn't have the time/motive to bother. The only time they deliberately do a MOC block is if there is an unacceptable MOC around and they finally catch on (e.g. the Daily mail book tokens, and before that the old Teetha coupon from a couple of years back). Or if a product is permanently discontinued (e.g. the Loyd Grossman Sauce MOC from Best magazine a while back, that worked at first but then suddenly didn't, because the product was no longer stocked).
HTH. Don't believe what an SA tells you about MOCs. Most of it is made up.:DPRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
