There is nothing wrong with that, as they have done more harm to us couponers than me exposing them. I'll do the right thing & I am VERY PROUD to protect us genuine couponers.
    Could you define "genuine couponers"?

I've asked this before on other threads. Some people seem to believe a genuine coupon-user is one that uses one of each coupon in Tesco when they haven't bought the product.

Actually, a geniune coupon-user only redeems coupons per the exact terms on the coupon when they've bought the product.

    I use whatever coupons I can, but I don't term myself a "genuine" coupon-user.

I am getting Page not found and so are other couponers I know.
I haven't had a problem using the coupon just would like some more (for my relatives of course)

The link there has a random '/404' at the end of the url. Take that off the end of it and it should work ok.

MM - I'm fully aware of the background to all this, having watched it play out on here and PTS for the last couple of months. (And I'm as pi55ed off as others at seeing Tesco bar the Mitchums and Glayva coupons.)

    .

Didn't see any people on here pi%%ed off about those 2 being blocked...more like surprised it took them so long and sorry for Waitrose who AFAIK haven't sussed they need to block rogue coupons before they get a battering from ex-Tesco customers (they will learn in the end).

Better that Tesco block dud coupons than pull the whole policy, surely?

What really annoys me about some sellers of printable coupons on eBay are those who are still selling Mitchums and/or Glayva and doctored Eukanuba coupons, Bodyform ones with the changed date...the list goes on. All dud, all ripping off unsuspecting buyers and possibly even dropping the buyer right in it in their local store, if spotted with these worthless counterfeit coupons.

It could happen to any newbie, and some of us are not prepared to just sit back & let some sellers carry on printing fakes.

...the email i have recieved today from tesco...

:confused::confused::confused::confused: any idea what this person is on about :confused::confused::confused:

the funny thing is i cant find any where in my mail where i once mentioned a tesco e coupon

:rotfl: :rotfl: Typical clueless response from Dundee.

Best advice I can give is not to even bother with them as they don't know the policy (they don't issue policies they are only a Customer Service queries Dept). I also think the more we badger Dundee about this policy the more they are likely to notice it as a repeated issue. Better to stay away from involving Dundee if possible IMHO.

Your query might be better received if you politely write to your local Store Manager asking if there is any restriction in his store of the national coupon policy (then enclose a screenshot of the coupon policy as posted before on here, without usernames). Explain the problems you've been having in his store and how much easier it was when you shopped in 'another Tesco' or 'the local Waitrose' where they are very clear with their policy.

Do I recall correctly, that so far you have only seen a Duty Manager over this issue? It's the Store Manager whose decision counts, don't be afraid to ask for it - the only thing is SM's rarely appear at the CS desk hence the need for a letter addressed to him by name (their mugshot/name is usually near the CS desk).

Even if you get a '10% maximum' or 'no internet coupons' as a reply at least you can show that to jobsworth cashiers in future and know where you stand for certain in that store.

Maybe the term 'genuine couponer' isn't accurate, but I suppose what it means is following Tesco's policy for accepting them, and that of other supermarkets. We need to ensure we don't give them coupons that they can't redeem, knowingly giving them one which will cost them money will just be another nail in the coupon coffin.

I think we all know that we are not adhereing to the manufacturers conditions, but if tesco accept bits of paper in return for our shopping thats up to them. What they then go and do with it is their business. Saying that, we know exactely what they then go and do with it, they send it to coupon clearing for a refund. If they gets loads returned unpaid, then why should they continue to do it?

So please, please, please lets stick to the rules (those of the supermarkets accepting the coupons).:A

Not quite sure what you are asking?

If you are referring to the availability of the moc then I can confirm that I just printed one off five minutes ago.
If you are asking if it is BLOCKED by the supermarkets/manufacturer then perhaps someone can confirm use today?

I used the compeed £2 this afternoon ok

Excuse my lack of knowledge but does this mean you can (within policy) still use Glayva and £1 Mitchum in Waitrose
