  • Hi all,

I am a coupon newbie and was wondering where you guys get your coupons from - I have seen people on the forums that save £££ per week on their shopping but I have only been able to find couponnet.co.uk, and I have printed them and it won't let me print more!

    Many Thanks in advance,

    Janinibean

That's really low to post people's private details on a public forum.

I certainly wouldn't be proud of myself if I'd done that.

Dave, with all due respect I think you have missed the point here. The ebayers have been selling the MOC's that are available on this site for free. Copying them and in some cases (as well documented on here) doctoring them. Then, anyone who has bought them in good faith lose their money :(
I applaud the work that code-express is doing as in the long term fleabay will hurt our coupon policy. Fleabay refuse to take any action so I think it's only right that the seller has their "coupons" bought with monopoly money :rotfl:
Myself and another mse'r spent quite a few hours one day "buying" a rogue £5 voucher off fleabay as whenever we complained to them you receive scripted emails. Hope that helps to explain things for you :)

    Hi nikkit,

Looks like they think you're trying to buy stuff on-line with vouchers. No doubt they got confused (not for the first time) when you enquired about internet vouchers.

I have to say I agree with this. While I in NO way think the ebay seller is in the right at ALL (in fact I think it's disgraceful and it's behaviour like that that WILL ruin it for the rest of us) I do think posting someone's private information like that is just as awful.

BTW - I used Compeed in Tesco this morning with no problems at all.

MM - I'm fully aware of the background to all this, having watched it play out on here and PTS for the last couple of months. (And I'm as pi55ed off as others at seeing Tesco bar the Mitchums and Glayva coupons.)

I still say that it's wrong to post someone's private info on a public forum.

On a separate note, there's alot of hypocrisy around the use of coupons, and I get sick of being preached to about where to use coupons, whether to use them etc. For me, that goes back to the DM tokens.

To be fair to code express I feel anyone would feel pretty hacked off with someone using their user name from ebay to post on MSE.
If we'd all carried on using the DM MOC in Tesco's the coupon policy would have been dead months ago period.
I don't think anyone is being preached to regarding the usage of MOC's just given a gentle nudge in the right direction. :)
