    You can't I am afraid.

Ahhh OK I didn't realise that supermarkets don't stock it. I got my dog from The Dogs Trust so I could do that but as far as I am aware they use Arden Grange food. I'll ring and ask. Thanks.

Dogs Trust aren't fussy what brand of dog food they are given. I think they are very grateful for any food. Some of their dogs do have special diets but alot don't. Even cheap tin dog food - and the doggies LOVE tins of frankfurters sausages  and tinned meat-:spam: - both great for training (all of which you can pick up in tescos with your coupons of course...xx).

    Hi

    i have a small dilemma
i went to teso today bought a mobile phone and also did s ome shopping - and paid partially with coupons

i went in again to buy another mobile as soon as iwent in i saw the men in white (the security men) hush hushing to one another and when i put the mobile in the trolley thewhite man came upto me and said i cannotbuy another mobile as i already purchased one earlier and only 1 per person in 6 months.

then when i was doing my shopping i saw the manager taking the cs person that served me earlier on going upstairs to the office -
what do u think could happen? andhow do they know i came earlier and bought a mobile by the certain cs?
i am getting very worried now!!!
    plz help
smile...and the world will smile with you!

cuppa-cha, maybe that store has had problems with unredeemable coupons and have decided to watch known coupon-users. It certainly sounds as though you were being watched from that first transaction.

AFAIK you should be able to buy another mobile phone!

I honestly don't think that was the problem - I expect the real problem was they don't want you using coupons again in the same day and needed to stop you in your tracks while they checked out what coupons you used first time around. Perhaps they were also miffed that you used mocs for an electrical item - but there's nothing in the policy to say you can only use them on food items, many of us have bought electricals, clothing, toys, homewares etc. with mocs before.

Maybe they were already going up to the cash office with the 'pod' from the till you used first time around, to open the pod up & check which sort of coupons you were using. Then unexpectedly, you were seen to come back in and they panicked a bit that you might be a serial Somerfield-coupon-user intent on getting several mobile phones with worthless bits of paper! Not saying you were at all - but imagine what they might have thought when they saw you return after they had already got suspicious of you.

I am sure you'll be OK as long as you were using one of each, in date redeemable ones (as long as that store doesn't have any further restrictions they consider you would be aware of as a regular couponing customer). For instance in my local where I am known, they don't allow internet prints - and they know that I know this - so I would never even sneak one in a pile of mocs.

Most stores will allow one of each coupon but if they realise a customer is returning ON THE SAME DAY they sometimes stop the person using coupons for a second time that day. That's seen as abuse by many Tesco stores (and Waitrose as well, someone reported an issue there when returning the same day with coupons).

So if I were you, I would go back another day - but only ever pay with coupons once per day. Going in and out then back in any shop again, looks suspicious (it is unusual behaviour similar to a shoplifter's actions).

    Hi Coupon-mad

I have always used internet coupons but my store has changed its policy. Based on your comments above may I ask where you get you coupons if your store does not accept internet. I am really struggling now my store has changed their stance

    Thanks

Hi, I would also be interested to know where you get your coupons as I have been sent in the post 2 coupons 1 Glayva and 1 London banger both of which Tesco refuse. Thanks
