received this in an email
I know some of these are not true but passing it on anyway
All mobile users pay attention if you receive a phone call and your mobile phone displays ( ACE ) on the screen don't answer the call END THE CALL IMMEDIATELY, if you answer the call, your phone will be infected by a virus.
This virus will erase all IMEI and IMSI information from both your phone and your SIM card, which will make your phone unable to connect with the telephone network. You will have to buy a new phone.
This information has been confirmed by both Motorola and Nokia. There are over 3 Million mobile phones being infected by this virus in USA now.
You can also check this news in the CNN web site. PLEASE FORWARD THIS PIECE OF INFORMATION TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS

This email does seem to be a hoax.

This kind of 'warning' where you are told to pass it on to all your friends immediately etc is always suspicious.
In fact it is an attempt to cause spam, if you forward it on to everyone in your address book, and then some of those forward it on to everyone in their address book it soon hits hundreds and hundreds of users just like spammers who want to clog the bandwidth.
If you get anything like this from 'a friend' always check it out on snopes or somewhere and if it is a fake e mail them back and let them know they have been conned. Hopefully they won't be in such a hurry to pass this misinformation around again.
