I've been with them now for 3+ years, all trouble free, and they still come out cheapest on the comparison sites. I've saved £100's.

  • Following Martin`s suggestion to switch now I checked the Energyhelpline comparison site and it showed Atlantic Energy as the cheapest with an estimated annual saving of £140.00 over my present Dual Fuel supplier British Gas,so I applied to switch.Today the same comparison site shows London Energy as the cheapest with a saving of £114.00 over BG and Atlantic`s saving of only £58.00 and I havent completed the transfer yet as it takes 28 days! When i put my current monthly payments on London Energy`s comparison web page to-day the saving is not £114.00 but £23.00.I am now very suspicious about the accuracy of the whole comparison business,Does anyone know where to get accurate comparisons???

As far as London Energy is concerned, the online tariff is only available via the comparison sites. The standard tariff from London Energy, and the one available on their own website, is dearer.
  • Thanks I have just singed up with London Energy even though im still in the transfer period from british gas to Atlantic Energy.I am of the opinion it is a case of play them at their own game and keep switching to the cheapest supplier,if the saving is sufficient to compensate for the time spent in monitoring the opening and closing calculations.
