imperial wizard I have been with Atlantic Electric & Gas for 2 years. Just been notified about my 1 months Loyalty payment on my Gas however had to telephone them to ask where the Loyalty payment for electricity was, they had overlooked it. Same thing happened last year, so perhaps you had better give them a call, phone number is 0845 073 3030, good luck!
• Jeff121,thanks,will do today.I have probably been with them at least 2 years, and never had this!!
• Jeff121..You're a star!Just phoned Atlantic and £60 is on its way to my bank account..They dont know how I never received, but are rectifying now.Just a pity its not backdated,as this will be my first loyalty payment for 2/3 years as a customer!

Who`s behind Atlantic ? because Scot & Southern have just announced a massive price increase.
• Hmm, just last week, I was about to change to them from Scottish Power as all the comparison sites claimed I would be saving over £100. Glad I didn't as they must have put up their prices.

Using Atlantics own online checker it came back with:
Electricity
A slight increase of £27.48

Gas
A slight increase of £7.30

Saved myself over £30 by being lazy. Result.

imperial wizard, glad to know that you will be receiving your refund. Remember that your next Loyalty Payment is due on the Anniversary month your contract began, so you might not have to wait another 12 months.
I didn't receive my 1st Loyalty payment until February 2005 although the "1st Anniversary" was October 2004. I had assumed that the loyalty payment would have sorted its self out initially and didn't chase it up but come February 2005, when I had not received any word about a payment I contacted Atlantic and was told it had been overlooked, they paid up, no prob.
Last week received a letter telling me that I would receive a loyalty payment on my Gas but no mention of electricity until I phoned them on Thursday and it had been overlooked, now sorted.
If you don't receive written confirmation of your next loyalty payment within a couple of weeks of your anniversary date telephone Atlantic E&G to chase it up.

The small print on the bottom of Atlantic's letters says that they're now part of Scottish & Southern. Which in turn may be taken over by ScottishPower.

Mine was the opposite, automatic payment of electricity loyalty payment but no gas payment

I have just sorted this out by e-mailing Customer Services

Margaretclare,
It is Scottish and Southern Energy who potentially may bid for Scottish Power not the other way.
