MO4, I'm poor too but still don't get around to thinking about it till Xmas eve.....and I've got 3 kids
I have been clicking, answering surveys, mystery shopping and quidco'ing since Jan to save for xmas!
Maybe I'll get more organised this year and actually make a list and do the shopping in November instead of the week before Crimbo :rolleyes:DFW Nerd no. 496 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!!0 -
Morning Ladies! Just caught up with the thread , in summary:
Congrats to those with desired GCSE results ('specially to MO4)
Commiserations and best of luck next time to those who didn't get what they wanted
Hugs to those having a bad time
Best of luck to Pigpen with the icecream!!
Had a fab evening in London last night. Met one of the school mums and we mooched round covent garden (did some shopping in Lush!!), then saw the theatre with the Take That musicall, so went to ask for returns but were out of luck - however they did have front row seats for £19.00!!!!! What a great show!! Plot not the greatest, but EXCELLENT music and wonderful dancers only 2 foot away!! Even more fun 'cos it wasn't planned or expected.
DH was thrilled when I finally got home and woke him up to tell him what a great time we'd had!!!!!!!
Today DS has another opticians appointment for a specs check and then its cracking on with the ironing and washing to create more ironing!
See you later - off in search of large coffee before I start!

Ginger Girl, I love spontaneous evenings like that! My oldest friend (in time not age
) and I met for dinner in the West End a few weeks ago and ended up going to see Spamalot, they were also doing an offer, we got front row of the dress circle for £19.99 each! That was one of the funniest shows I've seen (well just as funny as Avenue Q which was hysterical!), Sanjeev Bhaskar as the King of the Britons was so funny with his ad-libbing, highly recommended if you can get to London to see it.

Well my plans for the morning changed - it's chucking it down here again. If it doesn't clear up soon I will end up with the heating on again to get the washing dry - don't have a tumble drier. Will have o take the dog out soon weather it's raining or not he is getting stir crazy as we didn't go out yesterday either. Did manage to get some of Tuesdays list done though. Will ignore todays as I don't do my son's bedroom - if he wants to live in a pit it's up to him - I do go in and retrieve towels and dirty dishes every so often though but thats about it. As for the spare room my oldest son is coming home tonight so can't see the point of cleaning that just for him to mess up
will do that next week when he's gone back.
