Hi Polkadot! Very impressed! The key is to remember 'baby steps' and not to burn yourself out too quickly. (Spoken with the experience of someone who has fallen off the wagon so often I should be black and blue by now!)
I love organized home and last year printed off their organized christmas thingie - the holiday grand plan, it starts at the end of August!! DH thought I was completely bonkers - bit things were much less stressed than other christmases!
Have made a start on DS room and am treating myself to a short break to allow me to plan my next line of attack on clutter world!!! Have found some dubious looking socks and then had to convince DS that the wash basket would be the best place for them - he was all up for shoving them back into the drawer!
Have I earned chocolate yet..........?????

I got a bit carried away with my HHC and have just finished. I only managed one shelf of the fridge but did get rid of some mouldy strawberries. I have made two pounds of blackcurrant jam and some croissants for when the family get back from beating.

Can you tell what'll probably get left again this week? Well done on the flying Polkadot - as others have said, be careful you don't burn yourself out at the beginning of the week - it's very tempting when you have lots of enthusiasm, and then you end up too tired to do the rest of the week.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170 -

contrary to popular belief a tv is NOT a form of contraceptive... nor is PLANNING 8 children... and that was the polite reply!
:D:D:D
We had our 5 before we ditched the telly, so I can confirm it is a rubbish contraceptive! (everyone seems to ask if we have a tv, too, followed by 'were they planned?' such a rude question to ask someone, I doubt they ever ask someone who has only 2 kids if they planned them!)0 -
Indeed.. When I started at college doing the dressmaking a few years ago it was about 3 months before anyone actually asked how many children I have.. then the snooty mare sitting next to me sniggered and said 'Have you figured out what is causing it?' ... I sidled right up close to her and in a 'stage whisper' (ie.. loud enough for EVERYONE to hear.. 'Oooooh YES... and I am REALLY REALLY good at it'.. gave her a rather naughty wink and went back to my work.. she never spoke to me again!! LOL
I also (one time when pregnant with DD5 and VERY stroppy) had a guy pull over alongside me as I was walking home from school.. wound down his window and shouted 'are they all yours?'.. I soun round like a crazy woman and yelled back.. 'No.. I just robbed a f***ing orphanage!!'...
I have a whole list of 'witty retorts'!! most are even more rude than the question that was asked.
I have to say the one that REALLY gets my goat is the 'do they all have the same dad?'... I HATE thay... why do they automatically assume you are a) up for it and b) unable to stay with the same person.. My reply to that one is.. 'same dad as what??'
