I complained to orange too that I strongly OBJECT to paying 25p to complain about there service's.... tried 0800 freephone number from land line ... they refused to help me on that number...tried 3 times.....I am now busy writing letter of complaint to head office...
I never said that you get £12 free CALL credit. I'm sorry if my words were misleading.
I did say that you get £12 free WAP credit (Orange World)
You do however get £1 free call credit straight away.
Yes, the other free time for evenings etc does come at the end of the month. So we can only wait and see
I dont see why you spent 40 minutes complaining. I know their offer is not as clear as day but it is just a freebee to be used if we want it.
Just be patient and and accept whats on offerand see how it turns out
So far it hasnt cost me a penny so I can hardly complain. I will complain like hell if I pay for something and find afterwards that I was mislead
I hate the big companies and their sneaky tricks as much as you do
So lets see how this one turns out
Good luck
I will post more about it on hear as I learn it, unless of course someone else beats me to itIWasLookingBackToSeeIfSheWasLookinBackToSeeIfIWasLookinBackAtHer.....0 -

I have just been on to Orange and it looks as though the free talk time or text doesnt come without a spend, or does it.
I must say that their statement "register your SIM by 30 November 2005 and you can talk all night and text all weekend for free" is misleading.
Heres the actual deal as they described it to me
Register your sim before 30th Nov 2005 and you get £1 free call credit and £12 free Orange World (WAP)
within 1 month
you must top up by £10 to get 300 text messages + 1MB orange world free evening calls orange to orange
top up by £15 a month and get 3000 free evening and weekend text, 1MB Orange World and free evening calls Orange to Orange
it goes on
I complained to Orange that their offer was misleading and they refunded me text that I was charged for
They also set my account so that I can now have free evening Orange to Orange calls and free weekend text for one month
I dont know if they did that only because I complained. I just sent a text to see and yes, it was not charged.
Seems that it pays to complain after allIWasLookingBackToSeeIfSheWasLookinBackToSeeIfIWasLookinBackAtHer.....0 -
Did you receive a free orange sim last week 28/10/05? I put mine in my phone registered it then took it out. I used my free O2 sims during the week for text. I put my orange sim back in last night and got this message.”Hi from Orange. You have 3000 free evening and weekend texts to use this month.” I sent a load last night checked what credit I got left, still the free £1 that they gave me… Thanks OrangeGONE ENGLAND0

Don't forget Orange Wednesday - 2 for 1 at any cinema. text "film" to 241 to get the code.0

Yes! it's true!
If you ordered the free PAYG sim online, make sure when you are registering you tell them that it is an "online" sim card.
This will entitle you to the 3000 FREE text a month offer, which is renewed everytime you top-up monthly with £15.
It has been going for quite a while now.
Also existing PAYG users can change to the offer too!!
Just visit http://shop.orange.co.uk/shop/payasyougo/upgrade
You may have to register online to be able to change to text offer.
Good Luck!!GoMakeDatMonee :cool:0 -
are the sims the same price in the orange shops as they are online?0

Is there a minimum spend condition to using the Orange film wednesday offer, or does anyone with an Orange sim qualify? I only have Orange PAYG, and I hardly ever use it - just to recieve texts, and occasionally to send them - I do all my talking on the landline! And this may sound silly, but do you text 241 only on the wednesday that you want to use it, or could you send it on the monday or tuesday before the screening of your choice?0
-
you can only text 241 for wednesday cinema offer if you have a contract - payg cannot take part. not sure which day you can text from earliest but i have done so on a monday and get text no problem for the wednesday.0

Hi you can use orange wednesday if you areon pay as you go all you do is text them any time up till wedneaday. Then when you goto the cinama you show them the text you recieved with the ref number. No reliance should be placed on the above.0
