have you tried SEUS?0

just incase it doesnt work, can i still send it off to sony for repair without a reciept?0
-
Yep. Dont mention you bought it 2nd hand and wont be a problem.
This is off the forum I mod for:
Should you decide to send your SE away for repair under its two year warrenty, you can either call SE on: 08705 23 7237 or send your phone to their auth repair centre: Kuehne & Nagel
Appletree Rd, Chipping Warden, Banbury, Oxfordshire OX17 1LL Tel: 01295 663000. You need to keep your battery, back cover, memory card, sim card etc and just send the physical shell of the handset. You also need to back everything up that is precious to you, including all your contacts on case they do a software upgrade and delete anything off it. Write a covering letter with your name and address on it, and a description of the fault. Be as descriptive as you can, rather than faulty keypad, put number 345 stick occasionally for example. On the letter also put your IMEI (*#06#) and keep a note of this as if you call them to track the repair this is what they will need. IF YOUR HANDSET IS OUT OF WARRENTY OR THE DAMAGE IS NOT COVERED IE LIQUID DAMAGE YOU WILL BE CHARGED APPROX £15 TO GET IT BACK UNREPAIRED0 -
thanks alot for the info do i have to ring them before i post it?0
-
Not really if you send to K&N. If you want to call Sony they will book it in, but as long as you put a letter with your address in, the imei and the fault you will be fine. Keep a note of the imei and send it special delivery in case the postman "borrows" it!0

cheers mate, did this yesterday and seems fine so far........ fingers crossed!gaming_guy wrote: »have you tried SEUS?0 -
DD is looking at c902 to replace her 850i which is knackered, saw the freezing fault and found this "cure" on the SE forum. Hope it helps.

Yeah i get the freeze, phone turning off etc i dont wanna change the firmware on it cause ive been told it affects the warranty if i was to send it away for repair, ive contacted sony ericsson to find out where my local sony ericsson repair center is, i also had the K850 so many software errors too on thatBetter to understand a little than to misunderstand a lot.0
