I picked up some organic biscuits in the health food shop (finally got my tahini, only to find I don't have a tin of chick-peas, only dried) and these organic biscuits are horrible.

Does anyone want to try one? :p

Olive, offer those 'horrible' biscuits on Freecycle and someone as desperate as me will be glad of them!

Did you have one of those recipe booklets attached to your tahini jar? - they have a recipe for gorgeous tahini pastries on them.

    Sorry for thread hijack Strumpet!

In my house it doesn't matter HOW horrible biscuits may be......I force myself to eat them to save others the misery

I didn't get a recipe card with my jar

(£1.99 for light, £2.99 for dark - is that an OK price?)

Freecycle is amusing me greatly today. I'm reading all the little arguments that have been going on, and some amusing offers :rotfl: :rotfl:

How about some of those Chocolate Fox's Bisquits as advertised on TV - they are chunky, contain huge chunks of choccie and one side is covered in chocolate...yummmmm

As for the organic ones that taste cack about how crumbling them and adding sugar to them and using them as a base for cheesecake? Feeding the birds with them, offering them on freecycle or save them to pass onto unsuspecting guests who will eat them out of politeness:rotfl:

There's always room for you Hypno! And I saved you a gypsy cream - special guest biscuits for Super MSErs.

I'm back from Rishton - obviously! I was a little disappointed to only receive £10 for ring for the wedding but they were keeping some back for new ropes. Still, £10 is better than poke up the b*m with an open toed sandal!
