It would be far better if you were to do the glitch (in moderation) but actually buy other stuff so it isn't so obvious. Otherwise it can ruin it for everyone...its different to just using the No7 spit to get cheap items as this is actually legitimate...
Same goes for the mitchum why risk getting 10 or 12 cans using 10 or 12 50% vouchers AND £1 off vouchers to get money off your entire shop when you could be risking getting the vouchers banned and spoiling it for everyone...I just think people need to be careful and think before they recommend something that occasional bootsers may not know the conseqences of x
I agree with most of what you said, but for me, I just don't like buying stuff I don't need to 'hide' a glitch. Takes all of the money saving out of it. Right now I've pretty much stocked up on everything but still want to get a great deal. If that means organising the shops to the least possible amount (even 1p) and only buying 'glitchy' things then that's what I will do. Besides, the SA can see the value of things she's scanning, unless you got loads of extra stuff then she'd still see the haircare products have gone through for next to nothing.
Mr B knows what he's doing, and knows about this thread, so if he wanted it to stop he would have made the vouchers beep. This isn't like an actual error in the tills like the NC bag was, it's just boots has put out vouchers at the same time as an offer. So it is legitimate (well apart from the 'not to be used in conjunction with any offer' rule which we know is there to be brokenThey obviously want to get rid of this long hair stuff, they've been doing free vouchers for it for ages, so let's celebrate mr B's generosity!
p.s. This is in no way regarding the mitchum vouchers, but that's a whole different issue. As the vouchers aren't mr B's he can't 'stop' this glitch, so someone abusing it wouldn't ruin it for everyone else (well, unless they clear the shelves). They would be in danger of getting themselves into trouble, of course, but that is their decision. Sorry to be argumentative, just my thoughts on the matter. One of these days these boots are gonna walk all over you!

Hi all, had a good Bootsing day, apart from 1 silly old buzzard of a SA:-
Had TD toner and No7 LE mascara with pinky, FS voucher and TD mag, basically she queried which vouchers i had when she saw the items (think she must read MSE) so she says "you won't get the points as your not technically buying the items", politely I said "could you try please?" (knowing it should go through so she scans the lot +vouchers, produces the receipt and says " See, i told you you won't get the points!" (funny how the till accepted voucher no bleeps  till she did something) so I said "Can i have the voucher back then please?, funny 'cos I done this before" (including 2 second ago on SS till!!)   .
I know i should be grateful for the freebie but it wasn't even what I really wanted (wipes), just got toner for the points boost (and can't find any darned wipes anywhere). It just annoys me that the SA's can control the till to stop you if they like as this has happened before (but I can't remember on what) Anyway, not to be put off i got 8 TD items with 200 points each (different stores/tills etc;) ) 4 No7 Mascara's, 1 No 7 spritz reduced to £5.13 so 13p, and No7 Time resisting handcream (also reduced so free or a few pence) TS LH glitch x 3 @1p, last 2 No7 TM & 1st GWP :T oh and some Huggies and RM i brush with pink voucher:kisses2:Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift. That’s why we call it the present.audaces fortuna iuvat fortune favours the bold0 -
Regarding Rubie and Millie pallettes - all staff recognized that they were on offer not reduced with a sticker so that when the item was scanned at till it auto came up - but a supervisor did have to overide voucher still - but the item was not reduced it was on offer. But like you say you cant argue in some situations - but I said thank you loads! I got the lip pallette as already have a decent eye pallette and have too many eye shadows!0
