what are the Eyes And Lips sets? i did a quick search but i couldn't see anything! They are on the R & M stand and are reduced (half price) from £12 to £6. They are black with red (lips) or green (eyes) shiny writing on. That's if there are any left.

I've tried getting these compacts (eye, lip, brushes) but the till did not accept the pinky voucher  The SA told me it was because it was reduced, but I could not really argue with her, since the voucher says not to be used with another offer. So had to leave them there.

Hello children, I was wondering if anyone could help me find an eyeshadow (or any kind of eye colour; cream, pigment etc but not liner) to match No7 Stay Perfect in the colour below (and here). For those who haven't seen it, it's much more vibrant and lighter than the pic. Was looking at the No7 eyeshadows to use with the pinky but they don't have anything like it.
Just because I was looking at the superdrug website (sorry, sorry! Just out of curiosity!) and they've used a very similar thing here:
which looks fab. I don't have many bright eyeshadows but I tried recreating it by mixing a bunch together, then put the eyeliner on the top and below, but it doesn't look as nice really:
It does look quite similar in the photo (I also tried squinting like the model did), but you can see how the eyeshadow doesn't blend with the liner very well (and in the superdrug pic they only used liner underneath) and it's more apparent in real life. MAC probably do one in the same colour but I was looking for something I could get in Boots, of course
Has anyone seen anything like the shade in the s****d*** pic? Buffy, queen of makeup, you must have/have seen something like this right?Have you tried the Boots 17 limited edition eye palette from earlier this year? the greeny blue one in it looks quite a good colour, just found out as DD is doing my make up.mmmm I look a dream !!LOL I also think that you have done a good job..just remember that piccy of the professional one is going to be well airbrushedThis is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.Robert M. Got 3 today myself......nice Chrimbo prezzies0 -
In that case I will enter myself!
The shop is as follows.
Ruby and Millie Eye set.
Reduced from £12 to £6.
Used a pinky so I paid £1 and got a new till spit and a new pinky.
Cash paid out £1.00.
Total saved £11.00
And I got 24 Advantage points too!
ok help me out here someone! In the example above only £1 was paid after using the voucher yet both the tillspit and pinky were received. I did several transactions today redeeming pinky vouchers some of which cost me money but I didn't get any more vouchers back on them and the receipt doesn't show that I should have either.
eg I got a no7 lip brush £7.50 used pinky so £2.50 left to pay but no vouchers back.
I assumed this was just cos the actual money I was spending was below £5 even though the original total was over it but in the example quoted above they spent less actual money and got the vouchers - how? why?!!0 -
I think Valli was a special case. The pink voucher beeped on her transaction, but the SA manually overrode the till. Maybe she entered the pinky as a brand coupon
but in any case, I think it was the overriding of the till that triggered the till spit.
Usually you have to spend £5 in case after all vouchers to get a spit.
I tried to get one of the Ruby & Millie sets but the voucher beeped. SA said as it was already reduced I couldn't use the voucher. You found a lovely SA Valli :Tok help me out here someone! Thanks Tiara, that would make sense! Shall stop feeling miffed that I didn't get more vouchers - although I'm sure these things are multiplying in my handbag (or maybe I'm just spending too much money in Boots):rotfl:0
