Ooh thanks for that, I'll try and look out for her when I go in tomorrow! (though 20s and blonde could be quite a few of the SAs in there!) And thanks for telling me about the palettes - I have the bronzing one sent by the lovely tiara :) and it's gorgeous, will have to pick up more while they're free, hope they still have some! Were they in the clearance section or at the No7 bit? Was there anything decent in the clearance section did you see? Sorry for all the questions! :D

I think they might be called rainbow eyeshadow pallettes - there was one with lots of colours including blues/greens & the other was golds/neutrals. They weren't on the clearance stand, so I presume at No7. The SA had one of each at her till and was showing them to customers. Hope you manage to get one (or both!). I also noticed they've either taken off the No7 mascara that was going through at 5.00 or they've all been 'bought' with vouchers. Clearance was mainly loads of TD Anti-blemish concentrate at 1.57, No7 anti-cellulite reduced to 5.00 and some other odd bits. It is behind a big stand with reduced baby clothing (which is usually downstairs). Hope this helps.

snip.....I think the TS glitch is quite a confuzzling one until it suddenly clicks and then becomes ever so simple!....snip.....

Took ages to click for me ! Kept reading about it and not really paying attention as last time round the voucher kept beeping  however did it today and voucher worked a dream... Glad I started paying attention:D

  • Its so easy to get the wrong end of the stick on here .. we type as if we are talking ~ but because anybody reading cannot hear our voice it could and sometimes is taken another way and not the way it was meant at all ... its one of the downsides of talking on line ~ well thats my opinion anyway :)

You know when you do several shops? Do you get served, walk round then back to the till and repeat?

It really depends on what you are getting and what the SAs are like at your store. Sometimes you may bring it all at once and ask the SA to do two transactions -- but I don't do this if I have basically duplicates of the same items using the same kinds of vouchers in both shops. Some SAs will start questioning why you have so many vouchers, etc. Also, they sometimes get confused and put something through with the first shop even though I told them it was separate, and sometimes they have to void the whole transaction to take an item off. You just have to look at what you have in your basket and whether or not an SA is likely to question something. But if your second shop is, say, just another No7 item that you will be using another till spit voucher on, I'd do that all at the same till.

I usually will just do a transaction, then go back and refill my basket for the second shop and go to a till in another part of the store. But I also will tell the SA who just served me, as she hands me my till spits, "Oh, more coupons, think I'll go see what else I can find!" just so it doesn't seem so odd if she sees me shopping or back at tills near her 10 minutes later!

    Hi Thrifty Ruby,
What was the problem with the black mascara? Was it scanning at full price or was the voucher beeping? Hoping to try this tomorrow and don't want any beeps
    Evening All,

Managed another trip to canterbury Wincheap today (DH wanted to go to Argos & it would have been rude not to! ;) LOL)
Managed to get both Blk & Blk/bwn No.7 Mascara for FREE with pinky! Had a bit of a problem with the Blk one, wouldn't go through the till but the SA was a darling & sorted it out for me :T :T
Had to get some Flexatol for my manky diabetic feet & did the TS with the thermal wrap & blonde glosser & paid £1.01 + £4.99 for the Flexatol so another pinky & till spit :j :j :j :j .
My 7 yr old wanted a high school musical Tooth Tunes toothbrush so she used the pocket money (£7.99) & we got another 2 vouchers :j :j :j
we are going to the Cinema tomorrow at Westwood Cross so hoping to be able to spend todays vouchers there!
    Happy Bootsing!

If anyone has trouble with the TS glitch, please PM me as I'm happy to point you in the right direction.

I know Broclo does lots of hard work on the glitches for us all but I often feel bad that she gets loads of PMs to answer so maybe I can lighten the load a bit (who knows when there will next be a glitch I actually understand lol!)

  • INSIDE INFO!!!!

Hi guys, i was in Mr B`s today, one of the first customers in the door of course as i was armed with my shopping list and vouchers....

I managed to get 3 of the TS gliches with the mitchums

    I got

    1x serum
    1x straightening addict conditioner
    2x mitchum

    I used

    TS Voucher
    2x mitchum voucher

    Total to pay 31p!
    received 2 till splits

I did this at the No7 counter as i was there asking about the £5 mascara that is scarce in this town!!!!

The very nice girl on the No7 let me do this combination 3 times and couldnt believe it herself each time when the total to pay came up as only 31p and gave me 2 splits each time..

    Now for the good bit!!!
Whilst i was making her busy seperating my stash, i noticed a notice on the desk which she had been reading before i interrupted her...
I didnt manage to read it all, but from what i gathered, and she did confirm it to me, No7 are having a "MEGA WEEK" next week, where the top 209 stores across the country (not sure which ones) are going to be issued with reduced cosmetics...

Maybe it might be wise to hang onto these £5 No7 vouchers eh?

Broclo, is there any way of you finding out exactly what this is all about via your useful ickle friend? ;)

The SA was really helpful with me up until i questioned what i had been reading then she all of a sudden got defensive and took the piece of paper and put it under the desk.
It`s nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.
