  • Freecyclebilly - thank you hunni ;) I had a really good shop today, and OH popped in while I was completing my shops with my lovely No7 SA - she got him talking and even told him he should be proud of how much money I save!!! So he's been ever so pleasant since :)

I'm glad you had a better day than yesterday :)

Are you still supposed to get the £5 till spit and £5 off number 7, if the actual value of your items is over £5, but once you use vouchers then it costs you less than this.

So if you buy 3 mitchums which cost £1.78 each, and use 50% off vouchers, do you still get a till spit and £5 off no7 voucher? Or you you only get the till spit and voucher if your spend is £5 or over after all deductions? Thanks

snipped from my earlier post today
    "2 x mitchum @ £1.65 (with 2 x 50% (£1.50) off and 2 x £1 off coupons) so £3.30 with £5 back
ts thermal wrap and ts long hair shampoo @ £1.01

so nothing to pay. I realised after I had 69p value left with the money off coupons that I hadn't used but not bad anyway. As well as the 2 spits I got a H&B mag with the t&g/model.me coupons - result"

So you can even get the spits when you pay nothing!

Thanks so much for that, will try my luck - I can always take them back if it doesn't work. Thanks again.

Has anyone used the new No7 liplicious lipgloss? Was wondering if it's really sticky or not? Thought I could get one with the £5 voucher and the 100 extra points from the H&B mag.

    TIA

I mostly do mine in all one go and just say to the SA that I want to split my basket into several transactions, I then take out of the basket 'each shop' once one complete I put the next 'shop' out, I have never had a problem, grumble or moan. In fact the SA was more made up than me with my bargains today

I gerneally do two at a time as above - take out the stuff for one shop, do all the bizz and then start over with the second one. I try to spread myself around the tills so I don't see the same SA too many times! I had a lovely SA today who said she's like to come shopping with me!

I made so many small transactions today, over two floors of one shop and various counters of another, than VISA declined my card  they thought it had been nicked and was being used for lots of small transactions to keep under the radar :rotfl:but it was only me! When I spoke to the lady at VISA so that I can go and get some petrol tonight, she laughed, reset my account and said off you go... and spend some more!!

May do a photo of today's shopping later - there's quite a bit and OH hasn't seen it yet as it's mostly still in the boot of my car :rotfl:apart from the 6 packs of nappies, which my daughter has already relieved me of for my little grandson - (different stores, a couple of Huggies vouchers each time and no AC!)

I have a door hanging sign from the Soap & Glory Valentine's set. It's a bit saucy, on one side it says "please service me, thank you" and on the other it says "come and get me!" If anybody would like it, either for personal use or for a gift set then please send me a PM and I'll happily send it on. I'd like it to go to a good home!!

I'm afraid this has now gone to a good home.
    Thanks for the interest
