The SA was early 20's & blonde, she was at the tills beside the skincare (I tend to use these ones just because I've usually checked out the clearance stand behind). I'm not in town that often so I just hope for the best with whichever SA I go to. She really was lovely though, so determined for people to get a bargain - she even left her till to go and get a woman a reduced eyeshadow pallette so she could have it for free with her No7 voucher. (These were in a blue box and there were 2 different multi-coloured ones reduced to 4.95 or 4.99). The blonde supervisor in this branch is also really helpful, as I recall with the old med soap glitch - happy days.
The SA's on the 'high end' beauty counters in here used to scare me but I now find that just by asking about new products/wanting to change my usual foundation etc that most have no problem with giving me free samples.
Sorry I've no idea about the nail files, I was so intent on getting what was on my mental list. I'll be trying some smaller local branches in the hope of getting some more mags before the new one comes out.
Ooh thanks for that, I'll try and look out for her when I go in tomorrow! (though 20s and blonde could be quite a few of the SAs in there!) And thanks for telling me about the palettes - I have the bronzing one sent by the lovely tiara :) and it's gorgeous, will have to pick up more while they're free, hope they still have some! Were they in the clearance section or at the No7 bit? Was there anything decent in the clearance section did you see? Sorry for all the questions! :D
;) One of these days these boots are gonna walk all over you! ;)

Im going to sit down with my vouchers and work out my shops, may paperclip them together with a post it or pop into small envelopes so I know exactly what to get in each shop, as Im finding that it takes ages doing it in the store and looks sus as well. I am always paranoid the security guy thinks Im up to something, well I am :rotfl: Just not what he's looking for!!! :j

No need to be like that broclo, I'm glad you find it all simple but I haven't had the chance nor the time to go back and read all the previous boots threads as it moves so fast on here. I merely asked a question as I as confused as to why it wasn't working but thanks to the people on here (yourself included) it now makes more sense.

I'm sorry if I don't find bargain hunting that simple.

I do this and it is much easier papercliping each 'shop' together...saves on so much fumbling at the till
This is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.

You will also have got 2 TS long hair serums, which you can give to a charity, or drop on a shelf as you leave Boots (in the hope that they will get back to the TS shelf, and help a fellow MSE'r!:T )
Please note: I did NOT say use them yourself to do the deal again (if you've done it once, be grateful - that's more than a lot of us get a chance to do!), just leave them somewhere in Boots so there is the chance that they will help keep the deal going. If Boots' staff want to put them back on the TS shelf, that's up to them. There're some great deals on at the mo' for anyone with access to a half decent Boots, no need for abuse - I'm salivating.... I WILL get a No7 gwp.....somehow.... somewhere...... :xmassign: :D

You know when you do several shops? Do you get served, walk round then back to the till and repeat?

Thats what I do happy yeah more often than not I try to see a different SA but if its in my local little Boots there is normally only 1 SA on and she's so ditzy and such a laugh and loves my bargains cos then she goes and gets the same.
You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

Thats what I do! I have my list broken down into the transactions too,
and my vouchers attached behind it.

Which I then shove in my bag so I can "find" them in the right order to work in my favour ;) The fact that I then stand in the queue and will the dragon SA to either slow down or speed up so she doesn't serve me is neither here nor there :p

    (magnanimous mode:
~Acksherly she probably isn't a dragon but I prolly caught her on a bad day)

Don't know but I think sometimes she does just that, on seeing me in the queue :rotfl:

Darkangel, I think you maybe misunderstood Broclo's intent, I didn't see what she said as being "funny" with you :) I myself don't often get glitches until I ask my OH to explain them - he has a very analytical mind and can see the glitch before I've halfway burbled it out! And boy, once I start burbling, I can burble for ever..... :o

It sometimes takes me to read 6 people's (or more) explanations plus OH before it sinks in
