But he's a much happier person now, having had that change forced upon him. He did just as Toni (Hi hun!!) advised and had a contingency plan in place (well several actually) and that worked for him. Thanks It was voluntary redundancies at my last job back in 2004 which I volunteered for but was turned down as they couldn't lose me (!) which had me looking around for the job I have now. You are right, it could be a push towards something better & I'll be having a scout at the job sites a bit later to see what is around
