As to the Ridings, if you think you had it bad, try negotiating it in a wheelchair! I can use the lift in M&S between 2 floors, but to get to the other one, I have to go outside, through the multi-storey car park, and use the lift down into Morrisons, then do it all in reverse to get back again
Needless to say, I tend to go to the White Rose more often than not!
If I'd known I'd have gone to White Rose, I can get there on the bus from here.
Why on earth have they put BOTH sets of lifts out of use at the same time? Seems totally stupid to me, surely do one at a time to save aggro from customers - I would have spent a lot more in there if I could have got up/down easier so it's their loss!2023 wins - Rice Krispies, Avene Micellar Gel, Barbie Toy, £20 Apple Gift Card, KFC 6 piece bargain bucket, Chloe Nomade perfume, Barbie Toy (second one), Sanctuary Spa Sleep Balm, E45 Moisturising Lotion, Trolls Hamper, 12 Tonie Characters, Sure deodorant, Good Home Utensil holder, £5 Costa Gift Card, Neutrogena Micellar Jelly, Soap & Glory Mascara, Persil capsules,0 -
Morning All,
Has anyone seen the Asda advert for Acer pc at £197!! We got the last one at our local store yesterday and I phoned my neice who's a computer whizz and she said its ideal as a home pc for teenagers etc as long as you don't need too much power or memory. Perfect for my 10 year old daughter. My neice went to her local Asda to see for herself and phoned me to say that if I wanted to get another one for my 13 year old budding Bill Gates she could upgrade the power and memory for me at very little cost. All in all they seem quite a bargain and wondered if anyone alse had seen them. I hope they are ok cos I've just bought the second one!!
I don't think they're advertised on the Asda website as I couldn't find it yesterday but the specs are
Acer M1649 Desktop pc, 16" widescreen LCD monitor, Windows Vista Basic, 512 RAM, 80GB hard disc drive DVD/DC drive, intel celeron processor. was £249 now £197!0 -

Hello everyone, firstly sorry for not saying hi before, I read the inn everyday but have never said hi, thought i better do and stop being rude. I love mse but expecially love the comp boards. The thing i love about this board is everyone is friendly and also the banter, love the banter. The thing that annoy's me is people entering comps that they dont want or cant use. Please dont and let people who want them have a chance. Anyway i will come and say hi more often now i have taken the plunge.0

:hello:
Thanks for being brave enough to post, we're not at all scary, honestly!
I totally agree with you about people entering for things they don't want/can't go to  I've refrained from commenting on several threads lately, although I've been very tempted!
Good luck, and please keep posting!0 -

Welcome to the board! It's good to see someone saying nice things for a change - if you believed what some posters said you'd think that the people in here are rude, unfriendly, cliquey etc etc (which they're not!)
Good luck with your compingxxx
