Welcome!! And I agree with you both about not entering competitions you don't really care about...it is selfish as it is more than likely stopping someone from winning who really DID want it.

Rock Chick Bird, cool news about the Beetle; what colour is it? My friend has a silver one and I make him give me lifts in it because it's so groovy...

Hi to everyone, never really ventured into here before.

Have to say I love this site and now I am addicted to comps and have to thank the lovely wokkies for telling me about it.

Anyone got a spare drink, could do with a cider, dh gone back to work and will not be home again until gone midnight.

Yes not doing to bad, especially as we have been on holiday a lot recently so not entered a lot of comps lately.

Grrrr! I tried to book a Novotel with my deal tokens
however on inquiring a price first she told me price then said she had availablity.
when i said I was paying with Tesco she said SORRY we dont have that available with Tesco deals??
but offered me cheaper hotel.
i though I could get any room so long as I had enough to pay with?
any advice

Well a one off as in every August bank holiday, the Island hosts the biggest sccoter rally in the country and I just happen to be a few hundred yards from their main campsite, to be fair they are well behaved as a rule and just here for fun, but those critters are blimmin noisy!

Ah I see, not just a random cricket then but fodder, what do you keep? I'm guessing reptiles?

Yeh, we have two bearded dragons. They're only 4 months old and really cheeky. At 1st loads of crickets escaped, but I'm pretty good now at feeding time now:D
