Help - My Ryanair flight is now cheaper than when booked last month

Hi, I made a booking with Ryan air last month to fly in October. The exact same flights (same day and time and location) is now cheaper by £50 total. I rang Ryanair and the person I spoke to said it costs £20 per person to make a change (so £40 total) and they will not refund the difference. He said If i cancel the flight…

The daughter of a friend of mine used to work for Ryanair and she said that 8 weeks before you want to fly is the optimum time to book with Ryanair as that is when the prices get reduced. I don't know if that holds good still but it's worth checking out.
