    Morning all, (((hugs))) to everyone!

I'm having a reasonably quiet day, I'll do my shopping around 6 when there might be some whoopsies around, tonight I'll be cooking the sausages that ween't properly defrosted for last night. The WM is on and I'm hoping to be able to put some things outside once it's finished. DH brought me a present of his dirty laundry this morning when he got up, bless him. I think he still expects it to climb into the WM by itself though :rotfl:

Welcome to verysillyguy! It's a great bunch of people here, so friendly and helpful!

Hope everyone has a good day ((more hugs)) to those who need or want them.

  • Happy Birthday Donny!!!! (even though you'll probably read this another day..!)

PippaS, no worries - I'll give you my details so you can add me (tell me who you are when you do, lol) and then that should link you to lots of other OSers :)

CharliesMum, I'm finding it very slow this morning but did get things done eventually. FInally figured out how to superpoke, and then accidentally did something not very nice to Dazi.... oops.... so i have done other nice things after that to make up for it. I hope!!!!!!

    Welcome verysillyguy....
Martyn, good luck for the other interview - always worth keeping your options open :)

Just skimmed through & saw mention of lavender microwave bags - I am sure somewhere there instructions on how to make them - does anyone know where?

Absolutely gorgeous day here, Asda was surprisingly busy (spent £75  but £30 was DD's birthday present). Think I will go for a swim shortly, then to clearing out.....

stressedoutmum - congrats for yesterday! How lovely to get flowers and that your boss opened champagne, my boss is one of my best friends, but I still can't imagine him whipping out a bottle to celebrate, well not at work anyway!

n9eav - hope that the man is ok now, not a great part of your job I'm sure, my bil always seems to be getting called out to deal with gorey stuff, usually in the middle of the night, not nice.

verysillyguy - welcome, you'll be sure to save money here on os, well so long as you keep away from the remoska and other gadget threads lol!

pink - congrats to your baby! Mum's always worry, she'll be fine I'm sure, you'll be sitting at home all concerned that she's lonely, meanwhile she'll be out too busy enjoying herself to worry!

donnygal - Happy birthday! Hope you are having a super day!

Squiggly - lavender bag instructions are on the celebrations and pressies thread I think, basically its just cotton material (something safe to stick in microwave), filled with rice or other pulses and some lavender or few drops of essential oil. Main thing is not to put them in microwave for more than a min, and every so often put in half a cup of water when you heat it, apparently this stops it drying out too much and possibly bursting into flames!

    Howdy all!

Anniestar and Mr Anniestar - :grouphug: Big hugs to you
Kaat - :grouphug: Big hugs to you and Archie.
Pink - :grouphug: She'll be fine. But it's natural to worry. As others said, at least she's got a firm grounding in OS to help her through! Which uni is she off to again?
    N9eav - I'm intrigued - what do you do?
Hester - I get into Wisley for free but it's a 2 hour drive. Would you say that it's worth the journey?
Donnygal - :bdaycake: Happy Birthday - I know you're not here but you are in spirit!
Anniestar - which Faustus? Marlowe? Goethe? There are millions, but those are the two I've read, and there is some good stuff online about both.
Reverie - fingers crossed for the job!
Silly - can I shorten it to silly? Pleeeease? Anyway, welcome! I hope you made it out of bed in the end :p
Martyn - good luck on this interview (and congratulations for yesterdays)

Big :grouphug: hugs to all who want or need one x

It's sunny here but quite chilly. The Patient has a friend coming to see him after work - should be about half 12 - so at least that gets them safely out of my way. They'll turn the playstation on, start playing football, and not a peep will I hear for a few hours :rotfl: so I'm going to take the opportunity to make some blackberry jam, and maybe some blackberry ice cream too. Now that he's able to eat 'proper' food again I need to revisit the freezer and get back into meal-plan land. I only have a little chest freezer and usually I could itemise every item in there, but because I've not used much out of it this last week I've forgotton half of what we've got. All the bread and blackberries crammed into the top make it look like there's not much else in there, but there is, honest!

Morning everyone.Didn't get on yesterday, and today will be quick as DS1 is calling to print sthg off-he's run out of ink,he needs to do his confirmation as he and OH are going to Spain later today. It will be nice to see him anyway.

Annie and DH- so sorry about Phoebe, her resting place sounds lovely. My heart goes out to anyone with a loss, whether its a person or a pet((HUGS)).

My new Panny has hardly been off- I think we're eating too much bread, but its very nice-I can't get over the difference from my cheapo Asda machine.
Weather seems very nice today, but it was so cold last night- think I'll have to be ordering some logs for the wood -burner.

Welcome to Sillyboy,& congrats to Benthosboy on the new job.
Thankfully sounds like Dave is well on the mend Silvercharming
