Pink - I guess everyone feels like that when their children go to uni, she will be fine but you wouldnt be a Mother if you didnt worry.
Lovely sunshine here today and I think its meant to stay like that all day, will put a load of washing on in a min. Just hope its nice for the wedding tomorrow but the forcast isnt good.
I am still in my office today as didnt get much done yesterday. Hopefully wont have the interuptions today and OH will get up at 11 and take the kids out. Didnt even manage to try jacket potatoe in the remoska so will give that a go. Have lamb chops for tea and think will put them in there also.
Need to try on the outfit I am planning to wear tomorrow at some point and make sure everyone elses is sorted.
Going to surf now whilst finishing my tea.

Morning all
No rain forecast here today, so I'll get some washing on the line soon.
I had a lovely day yesterday at Wisley I took some pics & if I can find the lead for my camera I'll download them, lol. I'm pretty sure N9eav is a police officer, I seem to remember him saying so a few months ago.
I hope everyone has a good day.
hugs Hester

Hi everyone, another bright sunny day here in MK. thank goodness it is now Friday, cant wait for the weekend and being away from work. Just wish my life away every week whilst I'm at work. Will be going shopping tonight after work and probably get a nice treat for dinner tonight, feeling like a pizza and garlic bread would go done well. Looking forward to having a bit of lie-in tomorrow. Duddles to everyone, have a good day x0

Morning all,
beautiful morning here, sitting in bed with the window open listening to the birds singing
However, think I will actually get up in a second & go to Asda! (while it's quiet-ish...) I'm wide awake & ready to go (for a change), no kids here & want to buy some nice salad & other yummy bits to motivate me now I've joined WW.
Pink, your daughter will be fine - I have seen the young students I started with 2 years ago grow & mature so much - and they have all been fine
Even though a couple didn't have a clue to how even work a washing machine.... Uni's are very good at supporting/helping 1st years become independent too. And I imagine she has learned a huge amount from you!!!!!!!
N9eav, I just thought that sounded like a strange day out if it was for pleasure? Slightly puzzled.... Hope you have a rain-free day today
SOMO1, sounds like a lovely day.
Triggles, I must sort some stuff for ebay too - I just need to figure out how to resize pics from my camera once they're on pc, as they seem to be ENORMOUS!!! And I don't know how to do it....
Floss2, wow everything sounds like it's coming together - when is the big day??
Think once I've done Asda I might make a start on sorting out the stuff in my cabin to get that on freecycle too & I also need to buy some little nick-nacky presents for middle DD who is 15 on Monday. She wants a Wii game, but I like getting little odds & ends too. Need to make her a card too.
Have a good day all, ((((((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))) to all those needing / wanting them, catch up later.Live your life until love is found, or love's gonna get you down" (credit to Mika!)

Morning :hello:
We still haven't made it to the beach
Mr troo found a great farm shop when he was on his travels the other day, so we went there on wed. Bought 2 carrier bags full of very fresh stuff and a bale of hay for £7.46 :T Example of prices - savoy cabbage, 55p. Tesco sell smaller ones for 78p. The farm is somewhere between Chepstow and Newport, I'll ask mr troo exactly where it is (when he eventually gets out of bed) if anyone lives in that area and wants to know?
While walking back to the car, I started to think of all the people I know with rabbits/guinea pigs and how much they spend on hay. Then how much the hay cost me - £2. Then how I could sell bags of hay to them much cheaper than they usually pay and make a pretty good profit
Congrats for new jobs and exam passes :TI am a coffee bean0 -
Morning all
A bright sunny one here, and no rain forecast. Yesterday we only had one shower ( was a heavy on though!). So this morning I'm off to help mum with my sister's allotment (lots of free courgettes and runner beans!) then to the recycling centre with the big boxes from my composter .
After that I don't know - continue with the general sort out I guess as realistically it will be the next summer holidays before it gets done again on this scale!! (Even though I will have such good intentions to keep everything perfect all year once I've finished!)
Have a good one everyone, enjoy the sunshine if you've got some!

Good morning all,
My landline developed a fault on Sunday, was supposedly fixed on Tuesday and promptly crashed again and was only fixed properly yesterday. So I haven't been on here much at all. Means I got lots of housework done though.

Congratulations to Miss Pink and any other young OSers who had good news yesterday. Commiserations to any who didn't.
(((hugs))) to Anniestar and DH. Sorry for your loss - I know Phoebe meant so much to you both.
Happy birthday to Donny-gal.
The sun was shining when I got up this morning so my bedset is in the WM and I have put a clean one on the bed. I love sleeping in a freshly laundered bed - especially one that smells of the Lenor Lavender Sleep Sensations.
Last day of w**k on my own. :j :j Was hoping to take Monday as a holiday but boss feels that he needs me in the office to help him with all the [strike]rubbish[/strike] files and notes I have put on his desk.
Will need to leave early though as DS has an orthodontist appointment.
Plans today are to have no plans.
My housework is done - its amazing how little there is to do when DS and DD aren't here, cupboards are well-stocked and I tidied up all the leaves, apples, dead flowers outside earlier this week.
I will need to do something with a pile of apples and pears I have in the fruit bowl so I think a pie and a crumble of some sort may be the order of the day. I think I will also make a start on reading Dr Faustus (with the York notes beside me
) so I can get a head start on the Arts course I have signed up for that starts in October.
((((hugs)))) to all who need one and :j to all with something to celebrate.
Have a fabulous Friday. xx"Bad planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."

Morning all - a bit late for me today because I didn't get up until 6am and then it was a mad rush making sandwiches and getting breakfast ready.
The sun is beaming and the sky is blue - not sure how long for, though.
(((Hugs))) to Smoky, PenPin, AnnieS, Beth and her DBs, Candygirl's Dad, Essex-Girl's Dad, Jayward, Kaat and Archie and all who need one.
Churchmouse - :hello: :hello: :hello:
Happy Birthday to Donny even though she's not here at the moment! Have a great day.:bdaycake:
Well, I have my second load in the WM with the soap nuts - not sure whether I'm impressed with them or not, yet. I did a white towel wash the first time I used them and they stained one of the towels - everything in the WM was white so it couldn't have been anything else. I shall see what this dark wash turns out like.
Anyway, today I am going to do my food shopping; I'll try and get out early because I want to come back and declutter the sitting room a bit and then do some office work. I managed to do all the ironing before dinner last night - dinner was the Co-op's own quarter-pounders done in the Remoska with some chips, eggs and salad. The burgers were the best I've ever tasted and they were done to perfection in the Remoska. Tonight's dinner is Spaghetti Carbonara which is nice and simple.
Anyway, I'll love you and leave you all and call back in later. Hope everyone is having some sunshine and N9EAV - I really hope today stays dry for you and everyone else in your part of Cornwall!
See you later.

Morning everyone
Hope everyone is ok and glad it's Friday.
The sun is shining here! :j This means that i can plant out my cabbage and some more lettuce seedlings without sinking into the mud. Also going to sort out wedding photos, make some bread (first time for ages), sort out menu planning, tidy a bit, do more washing, visit a friend, usual stuff.
Had a promising phone call about a job yesterday, got to wait until 26th to hear if they want to interview me but fingers crossed.
Hugs to everyone x0
