Heya, if you carboot, you can pick up cheap clothes for your children as well as selling off the old ones
I am sure you will get there, you sound like a strong and motivated person. All the best x
Personal challenge: Do without as much as possible to pay off £12k by 07/2009!!!:T
Bluejeans Challenge: Spend less - Eat less! Need to lose [STRIKE]4 [/STRIKE] 2.5 stone () then maintain until my concert in Dec!!

Budget: a mathematical confirmation of your suspicions.0 -
I know what you mean about children growing so fast, as the clothes are so expensive I try to put a batch on e-bay and with the proceeds of that sale I buy another batch from e-bay which will fit them.
It takes a while to get into the cycle of doing it. Now it's second nature to me I don't really have a cost of childrens clothing. This works especially well when they are young!0 -
cat litter - large bag £4.54 x2
cat food - big bag £2.10 x2
=13.28 pw x52 weeks = 690.56 divide 12 = 57.54pm
Aha! I have 3 cats but dont use litter trays, any chance you can wean yours off and let them go outside? Did recently need to keep the cats in and used pets at home wood based pellets, big bag for £8.99 which lasted a month. Might be worth a try if you do need to keep them in?
What food do you feed them? Mine have a pouch of meat in the morning and then a bowl of dried complete available all day after that. Will work out my monthly cost for the cats (currently lumped in with the rest of the animals) and will let you know.0 -
youre paying £26 for Sky, you could get your telephone calls free on a weekend and evenings if you join skytalk (joining is also free) this also includes free broaband. You have to either pay BT for your rental of about
£11.50 per month or let sky deal with it for £10 per month. Eitherway
you save a packet. they can do this over the telephone (use the 0844 number and not the 0870 numbermake the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
6kg of Tesco complete: £5.67

thanks for all the advice on the cats.....I'll give the tesco litter a try. They both get out during the day, but their mother had them very well trainned when I got them. On some occassions when they had been locked outsid, the first thing they do is use the tray...poor wee pets were holding, must have been near to bursting!
I have a look on ebay for the bby clothes.
My BT line is needed for the sky to work and I have a separate number (2.75mp) that my ex only has. Means I don;t have to speak to him if I don;t want to....keeps me sane really;) .
My Sky bill includes £5 for broadband, and I rarely go out, so most evenings I channel hop.LBM May 2007 -£20584!!! (£18k is ex-husbands-nice guy, eh? )

I have 2 cats and cost of litter per month is zilch as they go outside. I sometimes out a litter tray out if we go away, then I use shops own bands white label stuff, a bag lasts me months, if not a year. Little monkeys will only eat whiskers out of tins though.0

I'm not very good at succinct. Why say something in 10 words when 100 will do?
