Ah - hopefully it won't be a problem then - I'm assuming it will automatically re-connect fairly quickly should one of the connecting computers ask for a link to the internet?0 -

Lots of discussion here, which is good to see. I notice that a few alternatives have been offered, but these all seem to be routers. The original item I mentioned was a modem router. There is a fair difference in price between the two and a the built in modem makes life much easier for ADSL (if not cable) users.
I think that most brands will have good and bad reviews, but I am buying this to replace an all Belkin setup, which just does not cut the mustard.
I will let you know how it goes if the offer is still on when I am up and running. In the meantime keep up the hunt for a better deal

Before buying KCorp products you might want to work out what this statement on their website means
"Please note that due to internal issues all KCORP Lifestyle Technical Support Services, including telephone and email support, have officially been terminated as of the 31st of August 2005."
http://www.kcorplifestyle.com/support.htm
Sounds as if they are getting out of the business and thats why people are selling off their products cheaply? eg other vendors will have a host of software updates and other support options.0 -
The KCorp KLS-5810 is only £30.26 until 12pm today - use this link: http://www.scan.co.uk/todayonly/SHAGGY84 wrote:http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/ProductInfo.asp?WebProductID=147503
