£26 rooms are cancellable aren't they?

I think you know what to do ;)

    From the TL website:

"£10 and £26 rooms can't be cancelled. If you need the option of cancelling or modifying a room later you should search for a standard rate room."

Booked 18 family rooms in London for New Years Eve (2 adults and 2 children per room). £180 all in, that's just £2.50 per person per night (for New Years Eve in London!).

Looking forward to one big party ;)

Please note Travelodge allow you to resell the rooms as long as you inform the buyer how much you paid for the room. Now that's a thought perhaps I have booked too many rooms.

    Thanks to OP.

Eeeeek...just thought...will it be a problem getting a meal on Christmas Day in Edinburgh???

No lots of people in Edinburgh eat out on Christmas Day but they book in advance. Try 5pm.co.uk and see if they come up with anything for you. I will ask around and get back to you if I hear of any good places. I am away to Birmingham this weekend so wont have time to check it out for you.
  • Do you know if they are transferable? I may give me 2-night booking to someone for Christmas. It's paid for so can't imagine there will be a problem but don't want to chance the embarrassment of them turning up and being turned away. Thanks.

We stayed in a Travelodge at the weekend and just showed our booking confirmation that I'd printed off the internet, but if you're giving it as a pressie you only need the confirmation number. The sign at reception says id is only required if paying by cash. So I guess that there wouldn't be a problem - you could always phone and check with them.

Have just booked rooms in Docklands for son's birthday, will now have to get on a change Tesco vouchers into something to do for us all! Didn't realise London was included in offer, so thanks very much!

  • Thanks a mill for this

We get a night out in Norwich and stay over Xmas eve, instead of driving there early & back late on Xmas Day - yippee..
