...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -
This is what I thought when I saw Linda was going off to read the thread (with Lenny's 'issues') .....

We'll we'd need a seperate discussion thread just for book swaps and everyone registers thier interest (maybe even gets a number?). We can then either;
a) list what type of books we like (on the first post where there will be a list of registered people) so that people with that genre can offer up a random book or a certain title.
b) Post what book we are looking for and see who has it
c) take pot luck and get a book off someone!
We either then leave that people post when they are ready to swap, or we conduct a mass-swap once a month on the same day where everyone posts the next book to the next person on the list?????
EDIT - Or everyone posts the title of the book they have to swap and then send it to whoever asks for it first (or whoever offers up a book of interest the send back).
So would you have to be a giver, before you can be a taker... and what about the cost of posting......... or if it was a straight swap then you would be evens....I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
and Len - you do have a problem - us girlies don't know what you're talking about with all this 'smooth' and 'brown' business......

I thought I was bad - Brownie Sixer (Pixies), Guide Patrol Leader (the Bluebells, then the Kingfishers), Hockey Captain (House & School), Netball Captain (House), Cross Country Captain (House & School), Library Monitor and Prefect!!!! Not quite sure where I found time to do homework????
P>S> Decision made. Just been told a HUGEchunk of material that I haven't looked at yet isn't relevant to the papers I'm sitting so I can give it a body swerve. Going for Gold!!!!
