I have got a orange 18month new contract, free htc, 500 mins, unlimited l/line calls, now I have 4 magic numbers and 100 texts for £20 a month. May sell it though and upgrade my M700!!Green and minimal chemicals is the new black- I know a fair old bit about sustainability, specially energy and transport stuff. If I can help- please ask!0

I got the XDA Ignito (HTC touch Diamond) from O2, rang up to cancel my contract (£35 a month) and was offered the Ignito free, 600mins, 1000 texts and unlimited web browsing for £20 a month.
Just call O2 and go to cancellations (Retention) and say you want to cancel, when they ask why say that they dont stock the phone you want (samsung Omnia) they will then offer you a great deal.0 -

Thanks for this!
Just called O2-I got the Ignito for £27 a month, 1200 calls, 1000 texts & unlimited web browsing. Iam sooooooooooooo pleased!
My phone calls exceeded 900 a month so this is based on my usage.
I am on the phone cancelling another order I made which isn't half as good.
Does any one know is the ignito locked?
Also, any tips on where I can get co-pilot or Tom Tom for it at best price. Any ideas on accessories e.g Krusell Case.
Please also tips on any goodies I can add.
Thanks everyone who responded. Cavey your tips were so helpful.
My Orbit shall be going on ebay now-hopefully to a nice kind person.
I will miss it, as it has faithfully served me so well.0 -

XDAs from O2 are not normally locked. I have had three, none of them were. Your Orbit should also be unlocked.littlemissfavored wrote: »

Given you have unlimited internet, how about Google Navigator (not officially supported by Google) or Google Maps? I borrowed a copy of Garmin from my Dad and tbh I never really used it and I deleted it the other day. I am doing just as well, if not better, with Google maps.littlemissfavored wrote: »Please also tips on any goodies I can add.
I recently had a thought about my top 10 bits of software. They are....
1. SPB Pocket Plus. Alternative Throttle Launcher.
2. SPB Phone Suite. Alternative KaiserNotification.
3. Total Commander
4. Opera 9.5. Alternative Opera Mini 4.
5. Google Maps
6. BatteryStatus
7. HTC Large Start Menu
8. Vito FunContact. Alternative PocketCM
9. Mohairsoft Calendar+ Today Plugin
10. Sprite Backup. Alternative PIM Backup
There's a longer explanation on what I liked and why as well as the thoughts of others on the XDA developers forum here.littlemissfavored wrote: »My Orbit shall be going on ebay now-hopefully to a nice kind person.

Orbit's seem to be making about £100 (well £80 to £140). Makes me wonder whether it is worth selling it... or maybe that's why I have so much random hardware kicking around.*I reserve the right to have an opinion, the right to change this opinion and the right to be wrong.*Hope that helps. Can you please tell me how to get google navigator on to my phone.
Do I do it via wi-fi straight to my Ignito or do I need to download it on to my PC first?0
