I ordered a Chinese Takeaway for home delivery and the cheeky barstewards sent an English delivery driver.

    OP

i cant see why you have an issue with the pizza coming early, or would you rather it was late

this make you laugh, I order some pizzas from pizza hut over the internet last may. 40 or so minutes later I get a phone call from delivery guy who cant find me and he can barely speak english so I try to guide him to my house. This repeats for the next 20 minutes or so until I tell him to forget it which he seemed relieved. As I also wasnt going to accept a cold pizza. Luckily I was going to pay by cash on delivery so not lost out on the cost and I wonder if the delivery guy pretended he delivered ok and paid it out his own pocket.

I think the OP is being unfair to Pizza Hut. I called yesterday and ordered a 12" pizza.

"Cut into 8 slices?" asked the girl

"Nope I'm not that hungry, four will do" replied I

Turned up on time, 4 slices. Perfect
It's taken me years of experience to get this cynical

I'm  at pizza hut, to cut a long story short

ordered pizza for delivery, the guy on the phone said it will be 30minutes, okay said I.

Now it's only 20minutes later and the door bell rings, it's my pizza delivery! I'm absolutely fuming cause on the phone they said 30minutes. Why is it companies no longer deliver what they promise.

What if I'd been in the shower thinking I had 30minutes. If I heard the door bell I would have rushed out the shower, maybe slipped on the stairs due to being wet, fallen broken bones, off work for months and months. Or worse still what if I didn't hear the door bell, then I would have starved!

Then things get worse, I open the box and the !"£!$!$ have forgotten to cut my pizza. So I cut it myself and only have 4 slices, now I know when they do it I have 6 slices, so the delivery guy has eaten two of my slices on the way over.

What should I do, anyone have the name of the CEO, MD and chairman of pizza hut, I want compensation for a ruined night and maybe the nightmares I'm going to suffer.

MM..ssss..If you are capable of cutting a long story short, surely you can cut a pizza?
Are you sure when you cut the long story short, your watch was funtioning properly?:D

I always say-don't get mad,get even. Why not start a rival company called Pizza Nut?

    this is a complaint

I thought this was a friendly site yet not a single one of you has given me any useful advise or the name / number of the MD

you've all just taken the p1ss, I'm off to sulk now and maybe find a teenage sales assistant to shout at.

maybe on the way back I'll pop into trading standards and the small claims court.

    Addendum;
What next, I suppose you will be following the Great British "Compensation Culture" tradition and take them to court for turning up early? With regard to the Pizza not being cut for you if can find the physical energy to lift your self out of your chair and make your way to the kitchen and find a knife you might just stand a chance of cutting the pizza into manageable portions and if all goes well you could pull this off in around...2-3 mins?
