I thought the highest you could buy in normal chemists travel sprays was 50%?

Anyway I agree, highest DEET you can get.

on a slightly different note, should you get bitten by the little blighter's

something we were told to use (by our local chemist) and it works believe me

rub the inside of a Banana skin on the area that has been bitten

was told this last year after we returned from Majorca, have just returned to Majorca got bitten once, out came the Banana skin, it worked a treat, no itching or scratching

It also smells and feels lovely so you use it regularly.

I don't know yet if they work (going next month) but the cheapest I have found are packets of anti-mosquito wipes from Poundland. For a quid I thought I would give them a try!

The repellent we bought was in a orange and yellow box called BENS 100 its a 37ml pump spray and quotes on the box safari strength insect repellent which contains maximum deet for ultimate protection 95%concentration deet, hope this helps someone.

Just found this out - it is made in Belgium and you can buy it online in European chemists but they don't seem to ship to uk - I'm a bit worried about this.
