Excellent, good luck with it :)

My funding runs out in a few weeks, and I'm still having issues getting the vendors sol to send information. I have explained to the EA my timeframe, and why it can't change, and he's getting pretty angry too now! If the other sol keep this up they have wasted 3 months of everybodys time and cost me £1500 yet still get paid, something seriously wrong with that.

    Oh ****!

Just remembered I owed my dentist some money, I tried paying on the day but they said there was nothing left to pay, but then decided there was. They contacted me at the end of September, but with all the stress of the house I forgot. Went in today to pay it, and they sent it to a debt collector last week! Is this gonna screw up my chances of a mortgage?
  • Not if you have already signed the mortgage offer... it might effect future credit checks, but you should be fine at this stage....

Not had the proper offer yet, due to the vendors solicitor messing me about :(

EDIT: Oh !!!!!!! Just called the dentist, they wont give me the number or name of the agency. They say I have to wait for the letter, then phone. I asked why they can't give the number out, if its on the letter that is on its way to me, and she got stroppy and just said they wont. Why the **** not if I have a letter coming with that info on anyway?!?!?!
  • I am sorry you are having problems. Dont know if it would be any problem from the mortgage people. Why dont you go to dentist and ask face to face .

Ok, well from what i can remember they would have done your credit checks during your initial application....

I was actually made redundant and found another job during the process, but the CO-OP never needed to know as by the time we completed i had the money coming in....

I am not a legal expert in this field but I thought only financial institutions can pass on credit details to credit reference agencies. Did you sign a credit agreement (governed by the consumer credit act) with your dentist?

I don't think this issue will have any bearing on your mortgage application. You have a lot to deal with so I wouldn't worry if I was you.

    Best wishes

Proud to be dealing with my debts! Love this forum :grouphug:
  • Our 7 days cooling off period ended today, really hope I get the final docs in the post tomorrow, dont think I have ever been so excited by my post arriving!
  • I think we are now on the p4p waiting list, the co op had emailed them to say we've hads our offer anyway.
Just wondered if anyone has signed a waiver releasing them from the 7 day cooling off period?
Both the seller and ourselves are desperate to complete by the end of the month, we will be homeless otherwise. Thier solicitor said they had signed something before for people not to wait the 7 days.

    Thanks for that :)
As you say, got enough to worry about. Their sol STILL hasn't faxed mine the document we asked for (and they received by hand) on Monday. Seriously, EVERYBODY avoid Grindeys in Stoke on Trent. Bunch of useless muppets.
