This I believe is cheapest laptop on the market around a £100 only just released and can only be purchased straight fom the manufacturer. Has anyone out managed to get one and would they recommend it. I have been trying find reviews but so far nothing has been produced except marketing info pre launch.

I ordered 2 of these for end of June delivery. Received nothing as yet. Three times have been told that they have got shipping problems. Starting to think about cancelling my order.0 -

I would buy an eee or MSI wind instead. £200-300 gets you a 100 times better machine0

Its basically a case of 'you get what you pay for'. You aren't going to get a super laptop for £100, but you aren't going to get anything else for £100. Its small, cheap, browses the internet and lets you write word documents. Its basic, but functional.
At least, thats what it looks like to me.
You may be able to get Doom running on it, though0 -

Clearly you identify with it, iViv.
Don't laugh at banana republics. :rotfl:
As a result of how you voted in the last three General Elections,
you'd now be better off living in one.

If you don't cancel I will be pleased to receive your comment with your comments

Sorry to hear they have let you down. If by any chance they turn up, you may wish to let me know what you think of them0

The Wiki page has more information on it's tech specs.
It looks woefully underpowered and I would anticipate it to be rather frustrating to use, especially when the EEE PC 700 gets criticised for being a bit long in the tooth for use now.0 -
After reading the set of reviews quoted above, although I am only after a mobile pc that will allow me to do do a bit of internet browsing , produce docs and send email, I am swayed by asus eeepc which has a good deal of complementary reviews, and appears to be dropping in price with the new competitors now arriving on the scene.0
