I dont see why this seems so outlandish?!?!?

I registered as self-employed last year because as a full time student I was only entitled to CTC and not WTC unless I was workign 16 hours a week, so I did ad hoc skating/teaching/typing various bits to get my WTC as it was worth about £100 a week to me. I wouldnt say Im a property developer, I just bought a first property 2 years ago, did it up and sold it, did it again, and again.... yes whilst doing my degree, yes it has been hard work and a complete nightmare at times.
I have now graduated from uni, July 2008, and have set up in business, a company manufacturing clothes for people with implants or naturally slim/big boobed.

I have had the most sh*tty day, but you have actually made me laugh outloud! :T :T :TGone ... or have I?0 -

How much do you get?
Disability Living Allowance has two parts called 'components':- a care component - if you need help looking after yourself or supervision to keep you safe
- a mobility component - if you can't walk or need help getting around
Some people will be entitled to receive just one component; others may get both.
The care component and mobility component are paid at different rates depending on how your disability affects you. There are times when parenthood seems nothing but feeding the mouth that bites you Peter De VriesDebt free by 40 (27/11/2016)0 -
That was supposed to say £125-140,000 as I am sure you gathered, no? Will let you off, its the end of the day.
I have no idea why that seems outlandish?? My only crime is consistently engineering my circumstances to meet whatever is most profitable - and manipulating existing legislation to benefit me, its what accountants do every day, its what MP's do (second home legislation, expenses....), you might not think it is fair or right, but it isn't illegal. They told me I couldn;t get Workin tax credit as a student, so I found a way of working 16 hours a week without actually having to find employment, I saw house prices going up, realised I couldnt pay income or CGT if it was my main residence, so kept doing them up, puttin on market and selling. What is wrong with that?? Maybe my mind just doesnt operate in the same way as everyone elses I admit, I actively look for things I am entitled to, and ways to financially benefit from existing legislation and schemes, so what?0 -

With the rest of the tripe that you come out with, I was not surprised at your claim of being a multi millionaire (on paper, at least).

Well I didnt know that. I didnt write anything for the mobility questions, other than that I can black out when Im out, or at home, I have never said I cant walk X yard or that I need a stick to walk or anythign like that. I actually wroye 'Not Applicable' in the box for those kin of questions. I guess the fact I can black out anywhere, at anytime, is enough for them to consider it as low rate mobility0 -

It looks like she is committing fraud by claiming the mobility component when she clearly says she has never had a mobility issue.0 -

So you expect to come on here and get help for your "friend" to engineer her circumstances, I don't think so.0
