Why is my friend only entitled to £16 a week tax cred??

Wouldn't even bother replying to this OP. One minute she is a student, then she has nearly paid her mortgage off but then still has £58k to repay, then she is saying she is s/e and screwing tax credit for £800 a month but then it appears that she is also on her mother's payroll.
Complete fantasist who I think is just looking for a good ole trolling session...just my opinion though0 -

oh and she is also on the books of a well known modelling agency too...I guess the work dried up for her. Shame:p
Seriously, have never had so much fun reading someone's delusional posts. I don't know whether to mock her or send for the men in white coats:rotfl: :rotfl:0 -

Thank heavens, I thought I was the only one to remember this! And didn't she get money for 24 hour a day personal care because she could faint at any moment and her son could run out inthe road? It's all there as her first listed post (before it was closed). A fantasist or just a downright crook? I never could decide!
We MSE ers have long memories!:mad:0 -

The "aupair" was one of my favourite bits of the last story. I haven't been on MSE for months and I couldn't believe it when I saw the stories again!!!!There are times when parenthood seems nothing but feeding the mouth that bites you Peter De VriesDebt free by 40 (27/11/2016)0 -

I am not going down this route AGAIN, for the 500000th time, my heart condition is 100% random caused by biological processes in my body, makes no difference whether Im watching TV, walkin to shop or climbing Kilimajaro. I have never declared any mobility problems, my money is given to me for when I black out in the home to pay for panic alarms so my young son isn't harmed. How active I am the 98% of the time I'm not blacked out is irrelevant
Edit: Just seen the rest of the thread. Yes I had an au pair, paid for by Direct Payments, I was fully assessed by 2 social workers and was awarded a full payment, although I no longer have the au pair as my condition is slightly improved and my son is a little bit older now. This is completely irrelevant to the current thread
Edit again: Seen more of the thread. Dont know why I have to justify myself (again) but in response
1) I have been on the books with a well known agency since I was 14, no I dont do much work anymore (most models dont when they have into mid 20s and have kids) but I am still on the books and do the odd shoot.
2) Paid off most of mortgage, although its 57k, compared to what it started at, that would be most paid off.
3) I was a full time student, I graduated this summer after 3 years of my BA hons.
4) Heart condition as described above.
I came on here to see if there was anything my friend was missing out on, not to get a grilling off everyone. I havent done anything wrong never have, all of what I say is true, afraid its not my fault Im not a run of the mill farty0 -
Dont forget the ice skating that you do in the afternoons whilst your son is at nursery :rotfl:0

Back to the original thread, I know as a poster above says she gets £28,000 and yes I wouldnt expect her to get much on that, but £6,000 is disregarded and I just didnt think £22,000 in this day an age was that much for tax credit purposes after tax, NI, rent...etc etc, that'd be equivalent to two adults on £11,000 a year working full time - approx the minimum wage. If my friend was single though she's get her bursary, and whatever tax credits a person gets for working 16 hours on £7,000 a year, - my guess quite a lot - plus CSA/child ben.
I just wish there was more of an incentive for young people with chidren to ghet married and stay together0 -
