    2) Paid off most of mortgage, although its 57k, compared to what it started at, that would be most paid off.
(It might be worth noting at this stage my mortgage was £80,000 at the start and I put down 10%)

not sure the figures add up.......

  • Thank heavens, I thought I was the only one to remember this! And didn't she get money for 24 hour a day personal care because she could faint at any moment and her son could run out inthe road? It's all there as her first listed post (before it was closed). A fantasist or just a downright crook? I never could decide!

We MSE ers have long memories!
I remember this well, it turned heated !!!!

  • What I mean is how much Loan-to-Value, the 'most' part is my own equity, as the value stands at £125-140,000 - hence why I move house a lot, buy a dump, do up, sell. I use some profit to pay off mortgage, some in part of next house purchase and put some aside for myself. I really know how celebrities feel when every word they say gets twisted and manipulated

Must have written that shortly after I bought my first house :D I am 23 next month, have moved house several times since then, and renovated several houses since then, it isnt STILL £83,000, that was two years ago! It started at £83,000 but as I have already said, have moved house a lot since I bought my first house and paid off chunks of the mortgage with the income from it

I think that the problem is that you have come on here believing that your "friend" should be entitled to more when you are basing it on your own payments which seem to be made out of DLA, WFTC (based on being an iceskating teacher and english teacher as well as a dress designer for ladies with breast implants), property development, being employed by your mother and funding for childcare that is not paid to the carer etc etc.

    It just doesn't add up

Yes, I admit I forgot I get the DLA element to the tax credit which is perhaps why hers seemed low in comparison but allow me to explain your other concerns.

I registered as self-employed last year because as a full time student I was only entitled to CTC and not WTC unless I was workign 16 hours a week, so I did ad hoc skating/teaching/typing various bits to get my WTC as it was worth about £100 a week to me. I wouldnt say Im a property developer, I just bought a first property 2 years ago, did it up and sold it, did it again, and again.... yes whilst doing my degree, yes it has been hard work and a complete nightmare at times.

I have now graduated from uni, July 2008, and have set up in business, a company manufacturing clothes for people with implants or naturally slim/big boobed.

I dont see why this seems so outlandish?!?!?
