    Hi all,

Just wanted to add myself to this thread.

Havent gambled in a month, was in around 10k of debt pretty much all due to gambling, mainly online with slots and the like.

Im 14 days into a DRO, (waiting to see if any creditors appeal the order on the basis that I gambled the money away), and feeling pretty positive about a gambling free life.
I used to be Snow White, but I drifted.

This is what I use to help me stop gambling as I feel its better thaan gamblock. There is also a free 28 day trial. Always select the never allow to uninstall option if you are serious about quitting. This is what I have done.

I have also snapped my windows vista disk as I installed the programme and was simply reinstalling windows on another hard drive to continue pouring money ito these casinos.
I spent about 4 hours emailing pratically every casino online and asking to be self excluded for the maximim 5 years.
This time 2 months ago I was skint as a dodo having blown £1300 in 3 days. Now I have over £2000 in my account to go and enjoy life. New York anyone?

    Hi Elfieb and Mr Lol.

Firstly well done to you both. Life is so much better without gambling in it. I was told I can do anything i wnt to in my life except gamble. Thats not so hard when i think of it like that.

Mr Lol. if you call the online casinos many of them will ban you for life not just 5 years. What will happen in 5 years? Personally i would always have in the back of my mind that i would be able to log on after it was up and that would be a nightmare for me.

Kepp up the good work both of you. xx

Well done to you all, I see some of you have had some slip ups but if you can get upset about it then you are on the way.

My ExOH couldn't have cared less he didn't have a guilty bone in his body. He's now at the moment sleeping in a sleeping bag alongside the canal because his family have now kicked him out because he is so inconsiderate.

He's tried to put the blame on me and make me feel guilty but it does not wash anymore. He put himself there by his actions and his selfishness. The only thing I did was stop him bringing me down to that canal bank place.

Continue on the road of being gamble free. It's long, it's bumpy but what you get at the end of it is worth everything you can imagine and more.

I wish you all the best x

    Hi TB,

It's a shame you Ex hasnt yet realised what life he could have had. I'm so glad you've stayed strong. Maybe one day he'll realise he can have a life and maybe be there for your LO.

Hoping you and LO are happy and settled now and i wish you both the very best for a happy future. xxx

Cantcope Thanks. To be honest I don't want him to be there for me although he has been around for ds. He takes him to Dad's day on Saturday mornings. So it's a start he's also paying me money towards his debts so can't grumble really.

hi elfie and well done. stick with it. keep us updated on how things are going.

TB - what a woman you are after all youve been through and you can still look at the positives. good on you, time to put yourself and ds 1st i reckon.

Tmoose - well done, take 1 day at a time.

tisme - it feels good doesnt it that for once we can start to get our lives sorted, it may take a little time but we will get there. one thing is for sure if we were still gambling things would be a whole lot worse and difficulties mounting
