Freezing Q - cakes and biscuits

I don't see why it wouldnt freeze, I've frozen sponges with buttercream topping and they've been fine, take it out of the packing to thaw

you could freeze it in slices?

Cake too big? That doesn't happen in our house....

Yes you can,in fact its a better option to do this than to leave it in the fridge.We often freeze samples if we have a lot to do,and take them out of the freezer to thaw at room temp.
